Getting in and out. Taxi cant get close to the apartment and you need to carry suitcase up the hill over uneven paving stones. In case of the rain it become oven more challenging.

Location!!! it was peaceful - despite ongoing renovation of the house near by. 3 restaurants just in 50m distance, close to all main attractions, and walking distance to the city center.

Location was great. Magical. Kids have filling like we are in some fairytale. Although apartment was old, it is very nicely renovated, with all new stuff. The beds and pillows were comfortable.

Not for those with mobility issues. It should be more clear that the lock is on a timer and will not open until the precise time indicated.

The sofa was a little too deep and a bit worn down. The shower divider needs to be fixed and the bathroom needs some updating, but it was clean. There was so much water that leaked out after every shower, we had to wipe and wring out the shower mat after every shower.

The location is fantastic. Although it is right above a busy area, the windows do a great job of keeping the noise out. The beds were very comfortable and the linens clean. The unit is spacious.

needs a shower curtain or extra floor mats as it splattered over the half screen and I was desperately drying them out after showers or maybe a small ledge at the second half of the non panelled section to stop the splash.

airconditioned in the summer.! what to expect I terms of hot water shower tank, and removing rubbish at the end snd starting the dishwasher helped us to plan out check out timing. everything clean and well kept. bed is comfy and all the linen and towels smell fresh. information on arrival was helpful.

There are quite steep steps to the place and inside the place. I would not recommend for older individuals or those with health concerns.

It was an adorable place in a wonderful and historic part of Lisbon. it was such a unique place to stay.

It's a lovely building in a great location. The apartment has everything one could need, for short-term or long-term stays. I'd definitely want to come back for a longer period.

We knew upfront but toilet is in the bathroom. We were with 3 (parents and one daughter of 19) and separate would be preferred. But not a big issue :-)

Great location. Place in front of the apartment calm during the day and in the evening terraces are being build and it becomes a great ambiance. With doors/windows closed you do not hear it inside the apartment. So best of both worlds. Great flexibility of the owner of an early check-in and guidance to store luggage last day (Luaggeghero location only 75 meters away, downhill).

The windows kept out most outdoor noise, but one neighbor inside the building has a barking dog. The dog was quiet at night but did constantly bark throughout the day when the neighbor was not in the apartment. The apartment is a 15-20 minute walk from some of the main attractions in Lisbon. Despite these issues, the apartment was a good value, and we would probably stay here again.

The apartment was very clean, well stocked and well laid out for our family of four. Despite it being hot outside, the air conditioning functioned well. The windows gave us a nice view onto a lively neighborhood and interactions between the locals.. We heard fado in the evenings if we opened the windows. Otherwise the apartment was very quiet at night. Check in was easy and the apartment was easy to find.

Super comfortable home with everything we need. Great beds and good shower, and it is sparkling clean. The beautiful location between the hills of alfama with the view of the church, close to the riverside, hearing fado singers when we open the window. Great breakfast place at Casa Sao Miguel just around the corner.

Great location - historical Alfama district, other central areas nearby, close to the port. Apartment was clean, beautiful, had all necesary facilities. View on the beautiful San Miguel church. If you want to listen to fado, you can just open the window in the evening. :)
