I stayed in one of the private rooms and it was fantastic - great value for money and a lovely view of the street from the balcony. All the staff were super friendly - Piper gave a warm welcome on reception and Amil gave lots of advice for the rest of my trip. The free dinner was fab - lovely veggie fajitas and a really nice way to meet other travellers If you're looking for a social, clean, friendly hostel that's close to all the major hotspots, book here!

Someone contacted me to leave better review instead to ask me how they can improve. Even though I arrived for the dinner which for my room was included in the price, they didn't give me dinner, because I didn't sign up for this in advance and actually there was enough. Not happy about this rule!!!

The staff was very nice and helpful. The single room was nice however noisy from outside.

The Cave should be re-arranged in my opinion. It's just not very cozy down there. Get rid of the weird little tables with the stools, add another couch or two, and put some lamps in there for some ambience. That's my only critique :)

I liked everything in the Hostel. The tradition they have with the Free dinner is very nice and the meals are really tasty. The staff is always there to help if needed and the organized group activities are fun. The location is perfect, next to the Cathedral, a few minutes walk to Sao Bento station and close to major tourist attractions.

I can't think of anything I didn't enjoy. I even extended my stay because of how much I liked it !

I absolutely loved my time in the Onefam Ribeira Hostel. The Hostel is located perfectly in the center of Porto and the room was clean and had a good layout. The best thing about the hostel though is all the great people I met. Every single person of the staff is super nice and outgoing and they make sure that you'll feel right at home. There are events everyday and a community dinner with friendly and outgoing people. It was my first solo trip and I didn't know what to expect but I'll for sure be visiting this hostel again. Highly recommend if you want to meet cool people and have a good time in Porto!

Stayed here again after a couple of years and it's just as good as ever. Location is perfect, it's very friendly with a cool social vibe and lots of interaction and activities should you wish to join! I enjoyed "the cave" area in the night and then going out to a few bars! Wouldn't have minded staying longer but it's great even for a short stay. Dorms are comfortable and well layed out. Kitchen is big and spacious. Everyone was very friendly and special shout out to Bel on reception who was very cool, friendly and attentive:) great hostel overall.

I liked the friendly and welcoming staff who always wanted the best for the visitors, especially Felicia who was one of the volunteers. It felt like we were one big family with all of the staff. Loved that the bathrooms were private and in the same room as the beds. Best kitchen a hostel can have and great places to hangout with the other visitors and staff. There was always free vegetarian dinner and fun activities all throughout the say and night.

It was a hostel I preferred when I was on a trip to Europe, it is very clean, very quiet, the receptionist is very good and caring, I would definitely recommend you to go, it is the best and cleanest hostel I went to on this trip, and its location is also excellent.

Only thing would be to have more bathroom/toilets. But it didnt really bother me that much, because they cleaned them really well. So there is not much that I would change.

The location was perfect. Everything was within walking distance, and it is at such a beautiful place. They cleaned the rooms everyday and the people were so nice. The hostel was super social and did lots of different things. You could just join and have a nice time. I have seen so much because of the things the hostel organized, and then at the same time met so many new people. It was really lovely. I really enjoyed my time there!

What’s not to like? I guess next time when doing the Camino I might book a hostel a bit more quiet, but thanks to Amil I had a great night of sleep so I have no complaints :)

The staff was very helpful. I was starting the Camino Portugues and didn’t know this was a bit of a party hostel, I guess I didn’t do my homework very well. But when Amil heard I was doing the Camino he immediately gave me a quiet room. Also I got a bowl of soup together with the other guests, I felt very welcome.
