It was a little bit cold in the kitchen

The owner is a super nice woman! The location is perfect, in the home itself you can find whatever you want. You can cook and this is a super big +. We arrived late, and Jasmine proposed to buy for us bread and butter so we can have a snack! It was really nice and cute 💕

The place was spacious, cosy and well equipped. Beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean in the neighbourhood. The most important point- hosts (Gill and Tom) are very friendly and helpful. Their pets- lovely😍

We liked everything.

Very good communication before we arrived at the property, on arrival met the owners and we're shown around the accommodation, was perfect for our needs. The place was fabulous, bed was very comfy, shower was excellent. There was a facility to sit outside but we preferred to sit in the sun room. We didn't use a car so had to rely on buses which can be few and far between in the west of the island. We walked down to the lighthouse, amazing cliff views, also walked up to the Levada Nova, over three days we walked it three times. Beautiful walks in either direction. There had been a serious forest fire in October and it's quite horrible to see the destruction that it caused. The owners allowed us to use their washing machine, we also had an accident with a bottle of wine that had been given as a arrival gift. It fell from the fridge and smashed. After all cleaned the area she gave us another. Made us really feel at home. Also have a really nice cat and dog. Overall great place with great people. Cheers definitely recommend and would use again. 😁😁

Nothing in life is perfect. The one negative for me is that there's a door that connects the bedroom to the hosts' house (and bedroom, I believe). It was always on my mind that any sound/noise that I or my phone would make would be heard on the other side, especially late, so I wasn't entirely comfortable when in there. However, this is just my own inhibitions, perhaps, and not something that would stop me from staying there again, as all in all, it's a really good place, that I'd fully recommend.

It's a very nice place with everything that I needed to spend a satisfying week there. The kitchen area is well equipped and the bathroom was nice. The place is clean and well situated in relation to a couple of walks and the nearby town. The bedroom has all you need too, and the bed itself was comfortable. There's a nice, private little terrace that I didn't get to use because of the weather but I know that otherwise it would have been an ideal area to chill out in. The hosts were lovely - amongst the best I've had actually, and Gill was extremely helpful and accommodating on more than one occasion. They've a cute dog and cat there that I liked meeting and petting.

Our stay was unfortunately interrupted by the fires in the western part of Madeira who passed very close from Jasmine Suite. Danger, smoke, water cuts, electricity cuts... obliged us to find an other place, but Gill refunded us and did her best to make things as easy as possible for us. A great and trully lovely person.

Gill is a warm-hearted and caring host, very kind and hospitable. She provided us with handy info what one can do in surroundings. We enjoyed our stay in her suite. Very comfy and large bed !! Not always the case in Madeira' :-) There two large trips directly from the house, one coastal walk and a levada. Minimarket one km from the house, restaurants also. Glorious sunset views few km with a car recommended :-)

Gill and her Husband are very nice and their doggy was very friendly! If you two want to go away together and want to stay at a secluded place, this is a perfect choice. The shops and restaurants are 2 minutes by car, and about 15 minutes walk in the area. You can buy the basics at the shop. If the weather is clear, sitting on the terrace is a nice way to watch the sunset.

Gill has created a fantastic oasis on Madeira. After being in touristy areas and staying in more typical hotels, it was incredible to have a homey place to come back to. The bed was comfortable, and having the ability to cook ones own meals was quite nice. I found myself regretting that I hadn't spent more of my time on the island staying at this suite.

Gill and her husband were lovely. Enough kitchen accessories to do basic cooking, excellent restaurants in walking distance. Gill provides beach towels and other basic items, which helps with the luggage.The place is spacious and peacefully quiet.

Gill is such a nice and attentive host!! She cares about her guests and makes sure that you'll have everything you need for your stay. If you're looking for a quite place on this beautiful island you should go there. You'll have your own apartment with your own view on the ocean and stunning sunsets (if the weather conditions are on your side). I had a rental car and parking places are nearby. I would recommend a rental car if you decide to stay there. The busstation is less than 1 minute away, but buses don't come by that often. Ponta do Pargo is a small town with a small supermarket and just a few restaurants. But if you're not interested in overfilled tourist areas like Funchal that's exactly the right spot for you.

The guest sweet is lovely and very cozy, and has all required facilities. There is also a sun deck with an amazing view. Gill is a very friendly and helpful host. The village and location is great for hikes and for exploring that part of Madeira.

That’s hands down, the calmest location in Madeira. We totally enjoyed our time in the guest house and the island. The accommodation is beautiful, cozy, and comfy. The bed and linen were especially amazing. There were any amenities you need for the living.

The place was great. Very private, comfortable, quiet and with all utilities you would need. Gill and Tom are amazing hosts as well as Mistery and Zen. I totally recommend anyone to stay there if you are willing to be at a nice, comfortable and quiet place. the cherry on top is the view from the window facing the sea and hosting the sunset.

We enjoyed our stay in "Jasmine Guest Suite"! Great location. Everything is clean and fresh in the apartment. The interior is tastefully decorated with pictures and comfortable furnishings, making it pleasant . The apartment also has a private entrance. On the terrace there are sun loungers, an umbrella and a table, so you can enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean and sunsets. The hosts make a bright and positive impression - they are friendly, helpful and delicate. The guest can be sure that he will receive answers to all questions and all problems will be resolved.
