Recommend softer warm colour light bulbs. The cold bright white light bulbs are unpleasant. Warm (quente) color light bulbs do not cost more to buy. A very strong sewer smell in the banho--I closed both the banho and hallway doors.

Reception desk pleasant. I didn't take breakfast. Room clean.

The room description showed a picture of a balcony with a chair and table supposedly overlooking the courtyard. What it didn't show was that the whole 'courtyard' space is surrounded by mouldy walls from surrounding buildings and air-conditioning units, overlooking an old flat dirty roof. You wouldn't want to sit on the balcony and they really shouldn't up the price for the benefit of having one here. The whole room was very dark. There was no plug for the basin in the bathroom either.

The staff were nice, especially the breakfast ladies. There was a nice atmosphere up there. The bright breakfast-room was pleasant on a sunny morning and the breakfast was ok.

We asked a Pressing Machine (iron) due to my meeting next morning. Hotel says not available. This cost Euro25-50 and hotel does not have!!!!!!

Parking is free, its difficult to find parking this are. Staff was good and helpful.

I have nothing to complain about. I liked the place. When I return to Viseu, I'll book a room there again.

I was happy with everything. It was perfect for me. It's not a luxurious five-star hotel, but it was very pleasant, clean, and comfortable. The location is great. I don't need or want luxurious grandeur. I always look for nice places like this one.

The parking lot was quite difficult to park in, but it wasn't full while I was there so with the help of my family I was able to get in and out with no damage to our rental car. I really appreciated having a safe and free place to put the car since street parking is pretty difficult to find in the area.

This hotel is really well located, a little dated but clean and well cared for. I was prepared for the noise of construction across the street so that didn't bother me. The breakfast was simple lovely (bread, fruit, ham, yogurt, granola, cereal) along with a nice coffee machine and juice. The front desk staff was really sweet and helpful.

The foyer is very outdated, it could do with just being painted in a light neutral colour. It’s a shame as the rooms are modern, light and airy.

our room has an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom when we first arrived, and the shower was cold. We asked if we could move rooms, a very friendly housekeeper came to have a look and agreed, so helped arrange for us to move to a room on the first floor, which didn’t smell and the water was hot.

We arrived at check in time to be told we had to wait till 4, as his colleague was the one who knew about check in. He said he couldn't find our reservation on his system. However when it got to 4 and we came back, it was the same person who had miraculously found our reservation and checked us in. Why not just put on the hotel that check in is from 4 instead of 3 then!

It was close to the centre for bars, restaurants and shops.

Breakfast needs to be improved ASAP. The second morning we went out to have breakfast in the city.... Very noisy from the hallway as the doors are old and cannot isolated from the outside sounds. The pillows also can be changed to better and more comfortable ones.

The location was good for us because we had a wedding which was at the downtown church and it's only 5 minutes walk distance. We had a back room facing another building so was quiet. Free parking at the hotel and on premises.
