Maybe it’s just a personal opinion (and I do understand the ecological effects) but no AC was the only negative thing.

Everything. Luisa Botelho, the owner, was such a nice host. She even booked the restaurants for us - with the bestest seats. And the place is just amazing. A special mention to the pool and all the nature ambience.

I'd have appreciated an aircon in the room, but there is a fan so that was OK.

Perfect if you're looking for a peaceful break away from city life. I loved it. Waking up to the sounds of nature, opening my curtains and seeing the pine trees. Wandering around the property and the several nooks designed to sit quietly and enjoy nature. It was marvellous! The staff was amazingly caring and discreet. Louisa, the owner, was very accommodating and helped us with anything we needed. And what I loved the most: the entire property is quiet, from the staff to the guests, as if everyone had a tacit agreement to keep it tranquil for a relaxed holiday. Perfect!

Booked 2 nights, ended up staying 4, what a charming place! Peaceful, lovely garden and pool, and the animals are adorable. Breakfast was tasty and varied, and we get a courtesy daily afternoon snack composed of drink (tea or fresh juice) and cake. Maria and Marta were lovely and always available for local recommendations or just a nice chat. A place to return!

Fantastic room decoration, very nice and spacious bathroom, clean property. Personalized breakfast and amazing staff… helpful, friendly people. They offer a variety of relaxation spots.

the breakfast was fantastic, all the staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. Maria was able to answer all of our questions and provide is recommendations for dinner. We loved the tranquility of Teima, it is a perfect place to switch off and get some rest as it is very peaceful. The highlight for us, apart from the fantastic breakfast was seeing the donkeys and all the other animals.

Felt like we were staying with family in a beautiful property that had been kept to the highest standards, in a remote location surrounded by animals and the countryside. Perfect for unwinding, relaxing and switching off. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Unclear concept: they don't serve food but don't allow you to bring your own. Not walkable to anything, but a short drive from many great beaches. Great service, when you can find the staff. At this price point one can do simply so much better in Portugal. Great place, but not worth the money.

Amazing location for relaxing. Great rooms and decor, beautiful pool. Loved the animals. Tasty breakfast.

creaking beds, uncomfortable pillows, access to wardrobe interrupted by floor mat, noisy doors on entry/exit and wardrobe, no tea or coffee making facilities in rooms. outside space not enough privacy, remote location therefore hotel should offer simple evening meals.
