For me everything was perfect i loved it.

The room is quite dark at night. The bedroom door had to be locked to remain closed. You also need to keep the toilet coverage up with your hands otherwise it kept falling down. Never saw somebody from the staff.

Great location close to the center! The place is ok. The beds are comfortable, pretty short though. The check-in and checkout process are very easy. Everyday cleaning from the staff. Communication with the owner easy accessible via texts.

Due to the plumbing it makes a lot of noise both in our bedroom and the others. The noise insulation needs to be improved.

Very well located, the room was small but fine for a short stay. The bed and the toilet was good as well. The toilet was outside the room but it was spacious and clean. All in all, good value for money, recommended for short stays.

The private bathroom outside of the room. Either we misunderstood from the beginning or this information was not clear when we made the booking.

Good location. The host was reactive and replied to our messages very fast. Overall a good option to spend the night (ratio quality/price).

Toilet - there was a frequent unpleasant smell whenever pulled the drain. Not a big issue and it would go away, but occurred every day.

The room was considerably smaller than it appeared, and the private bathroom was not contiguous to it. It was enough for us but, for the price, I believe it should have been better.

It is well-located. The check-in process is very smooth, by getting the keys from an outside locker, and the checkout too by leaving them on a box.

Window opening onto an internal space. I got over 30 mosquito bites on the first night. Hidden in the curtains. So please spray rooms with killer spray. No kitchen access.

It’s quite small, good choice if you’re looking for a one night stay in Aveiro. Great contact with the hosts, they were really helpful. The room was clean, and the AC was what we needed. We had a separate bathroom for our own use, and it was really ok. 5min walking distance to the tourist area filled with cafes and restaurants.

The towels were too short, the curtain didn't work properly,as it got stuck really easily and, therefore, wouldn't slide and, finally, the doorknobs smelled really badly, like a bunch of old pennies. Since it's an old building, the walls are too thin, so the sound navigates really easily.

My room had private facilities and was fine for a few nights stay but it was not a room to chill in, unfortunately my stay was 7 nights. There was some noise, which travelled, from other guests conversing and talking on mobile phones.

Hotel is perfect for a two or three night stay given its location just off one of the canals near the shopping mall and park, also just outside of the main tourist district which is a 2-3 minute walk away. Rail station is a 15 minute walk. Located on a quiet street just off the main Avenida. Convenient for everything. Reception staff very helpful and friendly.

I could not open the window in my room so it was a little stuffy. I did have aircon but fresh air at some point would have been nice.

Towels were not properly clean (washed but stained). Bed sheets and blanket didn't have a clean feel either. Bedroom was very humid. No kitchen in the premises.

Very central location. Hot water pressure in the shower was a plus. The owner was very prompt to reply and give directions through WhatsApp.

Bedroom lacks comfort and there was a leak in the shower which made water come to the bedroom and consequently one of our luggage was wet.

The host claimed that they would provide a bicycle for me, however, they simply referred me to the nearby place with free public bicycles. While I would not find this unfair in general, given the actual conditions of the city-provided bikes, they cannot be used for commuting which I would have needed. (Slightly unrelated, nevertheless I note here, that the BUGA bikes will probably be a good way to commute in the future, however: a) their app didn't work for me, b) they weren't going to be for free). It was a difficult dilemma between the foul smell of sewers coming from the bathroom, and the smells coming from the kitchen of the restaurant below. I'm guessing that other rooms are significantly better than what I got.

Location was pretty good.
