We loved staying at this adorable farm house. The weather didn't cooperate, but nonetheless, the area is gorgeous and we had a great time! We also were happy that our small dog was able to enjoy the trip with us. We were also super happy to have heat as it was quite cold in the Douro Valley during our stay!

Amazing place. Unbelievable view. An old apartment in the middle of a vineyard. Super friendly hosts who run the winery also. Super interesting wine tour and tastings. Great wine. You will never want to leave.

Beautiful property, kids loved the pool & ability to explore the vineyards and garden. The casa was well appointed. The outdoor grill/eating are was a highlight. Staff was very welcoming and available for questions. We wished we could have stayed longer!

We loved the 4 days at Quinta da Padrela Winery House - everything from the location (which is a great base in which to explore the rest of the Douro) to the Quinta to the highly entertaining and animated wine tasting given by Jose Rodriguez to the great wines, olive oil and cheeses. It was really special:)

We should have got hold luggage so we could have taken home some of the amazing wine! Pool was a little chilly but we still used it everyday

Amazing hosts, amazing wine tour, building had plenty of character, we loved walking around the vineyard and trying the different types of grapes. Early September was a great time to come as the grapes were ready for harvest.

The setting of the accommodation was amazing. The owners were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We had a wine tasting and walks through the winery. The pool was amazing with lovely views across the winery. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone!

The house is in the middle of a vineyard, overlooking a beautiful view of mountains. It has its own garden, barbecue area and close by is a pool with sunbathing chairs. Inside the first floor is a full kitchen with an island, large table and living room (sofas, TV, fireplace). Second floor has rooms and two bathrooms/showers. The house has a really lovely country vibe and everything is clean and beautiful. The tour of the vineyards and tasting was exceptional thanks to the guide, very informative and funny. Would definitely like to come back and stay here for longer, just an awesome place and very close to the main Quintas (Seixo, Bomfim etc).

There is nothing to dislike.

The family hosts were amazing, always available and exceptionally helpful. The property and location are stunning and the surrounding areas of the Douro valley are all within easy reach. This is a magical part of Portugal. If you intend to explore the Douro, or just relax, the Padrela Winery House is an exceptional to stay.

Friends who had visited in the past told us they enjoyed having meals delivered and/or prepared at the house. That would have been nice, but it was no longer available.

The location was beautiful and our hosts were very accommodating. We enjoyed learning about the Quinta and the Douro Valley area. Wine tasting was excellent. Jose provided us with some great restaurant recommendations, and ideas for visiting in the area. Theresa was a great communicator and answered all our questions.

Jose was a wonderful host and personally checked us in and out. He also spent the morning with us on the following day giving us as extensive tour of the estate and the winery. The tour was very informative and we got to taste the delicious wines and olive oil. Highly recommend a stay at Quinta da Padrella. It is beautiful, calm and comfortable.

Very comfortable to stay with children, many rooms and lots of space to play outdoors, kids loved the swings, the swimming pool and the availability of cherries everywhere to pick. Proper garden grill with wood to make charcoal for grill! We had wine tasting of local wines and there are few gastronomic restaurants nearby (15 min drive).
