Cobbled road to the Amarela cottage could be better lit at night. Everytime we used the shower we were seemingly fighting for pressure and water temperature with other rooms. Luckily it wasn't winter!

Very nice property with great views and idealic scenery. Completely absent of the feel of a commercial resort, despite having many similar conveniences. The pools were all very nice given the heat of the summer.

Our room was not cleaned during our two nights stay despite us being away for more than 6h during the day. The staff is friendly but in two occasions we had drink orders at the two restaurants being forgotten despite the restaurants were not full. For the price we would have expected a more impeccable service.

This Quinta is amazingly located on the riverbank of the Douro. Our room overlooked the river and was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing, and the swimming pool is very relaxing. We suggest booking a tour of the vinery as well.

The shower door wasn't sealed properly and water leaked.

Landscape was beautiful. Loved the hike and view from the top. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. We enjoyed the pool. History of the Quinta was interesting. The wine tasting was ok.

The accommodation with magnificent views over the Douro River. The staff were amazing. The restaurant fabulous. we thoroughly enjoyed the casual restaurant on the property as well. I could not find anything that I didn’t like. Thank you again for all you have done to make our holiday wonderful

There were a lot of flies landing on the cheese and other items. The range of breakfast items were a little limited. The staff were a little slow to act.

The property location is amazing with stunning views over the Douro river with a 10 minute walk into Pinhao. The staff were so helpful we would highly recommend this property. The rooms are clean, beds very comfortable . A very relaxing stay. Definitely returning to stay here again on our next visit to the Douro Valley.

We missed having a long mirror in the room and some more sockets and higher on the walls.

The Quinta is by the Douro River, and we had a beautiful twin room with a balcony facing the river. I recommend asking for a room higher up to have this view. The restaurant is fantastic, amazing food. The surroundings are gorgeous too. Very helpful and pleasant staff too.

We were in a room a 5 minute walk away from the restaurant along a rough cobbled path but we were aware of this when we booked and it was no problem for us. However, it might have been difficult for some people. At checkout there was no one to help with bags but we discovered when we checked out that we could have had a taxi come directly to our room and then we wouldn't have had to pull our bag along the cobbles.

Quinta de la Rosa is a wonderful place to stay and the views over the Douro are stunning. The room was beautifully furnished and comfortable. Although there was not a TV in the room there was a lounge close by with a TV and a coffee making machine and a water dispenser. The staff were lovely and the wine tour was very interesting and the wines and ports were excellent. There are 2 pools and we were right next to the smaller one which was perfect.

There was a communal lounge area with coffee and water facilities but no milk which would be a benefit instead of having to ask at reception.

The staff were helpful and friendly, the views amazing. Loved the pool and the location a little up the hill from Pinhao. The breakfast is wonderful and views from the restaurant terrace are fabulous. Also enjoyed the wine tour and tasting.

The hours of the restaurants could match up a bit more, as there are a couple of hours in between breakfast, lunch and dinner where it’s difficult to get any food and beverage.

Everything was amazing- the location is perfect- right on the Douro with picturesque views everywhere. Rooms were very clean nicely decorated and comfortable. Photos on the web don’t do it justice. Staff is incredibly friendly. Dinner at the restaurant was exceptional as was the service and unbeatable view. Loved the wine tour too! We also walked through the vineyards, rented kayaks in Pinhão and took a dip in the pool at the end of the hot day along with some tapas and port tonics from the grill. I could not recommend this more. Two nights were too short.

Great set up and very friendly and helpful staff. Although wine tours and both restaurants are open to both hotel guests and others, the space never felt busy and there are plenty areas reserved for hotel guests only. Lovely family story behind the place and they take a lot of pride in this and their business which is very nice. Food and wine were delightful. Beautiful settings and views
