Beautiful quiet setting - spacious bedrooms The family owners went out of their way for us - so accommodating. We arrived late due to a car breakdown. Called from the side of the road and asked last minute if they could provide dinner for a very much later arrival than anticipated! A delicious, 4 course homemade meal with wine was ready when we arrived. Spectacular! If you’re in this area of Portugal, I’d recommend highly. Beautiful pool. Great breakfast included and you can place your order the night before.

Not much not to like. It was hard to find restaurants that were open when we wanted to eat. It is a good place to relax.

A beautifully restored farmhouse. The room was comfortable and modern, and the public areas were sumptuous and inviting. The breakfasts were very good with extensive options and ample plates. Be sure to ask for the made to order pancakes!! A short trip to town or the amazing cheese museum.

Beautifully renovated farmhouse, such comfortable accommodation, lovely grounds, the most caring and welcoming hosts who made us feel so at home. The best Portuguese food! The elegance. Great location as there's so much to explore. I hope to return and will definitely recommend it to friends.

The staff (family members who own and run the place) was super friendly and accommodating. The place is a renovated farm house and the surrounding scenery is breathtaking. Breakfast was made per our exact request. It was rich and tasty and was served courteously and elegantly. Each house has a few rooms as well as a living room with a fireplace. Super clean and very well maintained. Parking is nearby and free. Free wifi.

It is hard to find something bad about this place. On the road to reach it, there are a couple of curves which are a bit dangerous. The window in the bathroom was a bit hard to reach and the light of the bathroom is outside of the bathroom (ideal for practical jokes).

The place has a magical atmosphere, made in an ancient farm completely renewed. The hosts manage to make you feel at home and you always have the feeling of being at your own place. Breakfast is outstanding with home made food.

Quinta de Seves is an old, beautifully renovated farm run by the friendly and always in-for-a-chat Almeida Garrett family. The Quinta is very well maintained, clean and an exceptional oasis of tranquility at the foot of the Serra da Estrella national park. We really enjoyed our stay ! We were treated with a very good breakfast with plenty of choices and also a tasting of the family's wines in the Quinta's garden, during which one of the family members gave an explanation of the family's history. The Quinta is perfectly located to e.g. discover the nearby Serra da Estrella, the town of Covilhã or just to walk around in the surrounding vineyards. We would definitely come back here !

Stunning old house which has been beautifully renovated & filled with gorgeous antique furniture. The most delicious breakfast served outside in the garden & Joseph is an exceptional host. It’s a perfect spot to base yourself & go explore the amazing towns of Monsanto & Sortelha.
