Quinta do Tempo is a wonderful location in the Serra de Monchique, in the forest but near the beaches of Portimão, Lagos and Aljezur. This is the perfect place to relax, enjoy nature and explore Algarve. The property is a well restored traditional house, surrounded by a beautiful garden. The hosts, Jorge and Laura, are very welcoming, and kept in touch with us before and during our stay. This is certainly one of the places that we have enjoyed the most in Portugal, due to the property, the hosts and the location. We will certainly come back!

This is such a beautiful place, so zen with the pond, gardens and peaceful. I felt very welcomed by the host and the room with upstairs loft has such charm. Beds are very comfortable. The area is lovely for walks.

With the exception of rather poor weather which can’t be controlled, nothing was lacking.

Location was great. In the countryside so it was very quiet but very close to the town. The accommodations were excellent - everything you needed was there and the landscaping around it was so pretty. The bed was comfy, as was the sitting area and the kitchenette was well supplied with necessities.

A very calm rural location, with a beautiful garden and a very cozy room with full kitchen appliance and focus on details and guest needs. The host Laura was exceptionally helpful and welcoming, and we enjoyed each moment of staying at Quinta do Tempo. Highly recommended! A car is a must while staying here.

Actually nothing. If you do like rest, this is the place to be. 50 minutes walk to Monchique centre, with beautiful flowers, fruit trees etc.

Excellent located very gentle location. Peaceful. Jorge has been a great host. Very quick in reaction time to questions of our side. Fresh oranges from his garden, wood for the fire place. Many thanks Jorge👍.

A beautiful countryside setting with fruit trees and a very lovely garden. We were provided with our own lawn table and chairs and lounging area. Very peaceful. The room was charming and very comfortable.

We had the best time in Quinta do Tempo in Monchique. From the first moment we felt like being at home. Everything, absolutely everything was perfectly clean und we were greeted like friends by Jorge. We booked the little "house" and did not regret it a single second. The garden, the furniture, the fresh fruits, the wine, the view - we enjoyed every minute. Quinta do Tempo is also the perfect starting point for hikes and tours through the region of Monchique. This wild and unaffected region offers a different view on Portugals Algarve and you can find everything from woods to mountains to the Atlantic Ocean. The hosts have been lovely and recommended the best restaurants and day trips. The hints were very helpful and in the end we did not really want to leave.

Beautiful garden with lounge chairs to relax; nice patio in front of the apartment was great to have breakfast in the morning and enjoy the cool fresh air in the evening; location is really good with a short drive to Monchique where you find some good restaurants and large supermarket. The hosts Laura and Jorge were extremely friendly and made us feel at home. We would stay there again.
