Freezing cold spent all night in a winter coat and beanie in bed. Radiator locked to lowest of 3 levels. Should not be a hotel, massive fire safety hazard. wooden floors and can hear all noise. Didn't sleep at all, 24hr reception blaring TV, phone calls,doorbells, then dragging furniture around at 2am. Towels old and stained. Had to book alternate accommodation and they still wouldn't refund my night from hell. Avoid if you value your sanity.

Staff did not speak English and had problems with card payment. Quite cold in the room during the night, bed wasn't comfy and a lot of noises from outside. Room was on the attic with a small window, so lack of daylight in case of staying for a longer time inside.

Area was fine and stay good for one night (for sleep only, really). Very nice staircase with tiles.

Bare room with an electric heater, noisy street and room right next to the reception desk. Way overpriced for the quality. No flexibility whatsoever of even attempting to check in 10 mins earlier than what's stated on the website. We had to leave our luggage in the kitchen. Tiny sink.

It doesn't disturb me too much but I can hear other guests and even reception from the other floor. Almost no sound isolation because of the door. If you cannot sleep well it could be a problem

The internet did not work for the first day. We complained (internet worked the next day) and apparently the staff knew that there was an internet router issue for that particular room, yet they gave us that room! The beds (pillows, mattress, comforters, blankets,) were broken, not clean (with weird dusty smell). You end up having a backache or stiff neck after sleeping for one night. The heating was not sufficient enough to sleep comfortably at night.

The location is good. The city center is on a walking distance. The staff was somewhat helpful.

Location was fine

We paid for 3 people sharing a bedroom. We had 1 single bed and 1 small double. It was very uncomfortable for 2 grown men sleeping on a small double bed. I had requested bedding in order to sleep on the floor. Apparently there wasn't any. I requested that we be given another room however I was given some lame excuses by the receptionist.

The washbasin is very small and nearly unusable, no shelf, shampoo and soap must be put on the floor at the shower, short bed, narrow staircase, poor wi-fi, often connection only at the reception, not in the room.

Nice view: Douro, roofs, bridges; not far from the Luis I bridge, Sé, centre. Pleasant staff, cleaning OK, non-stop service.

The room was not as the ones shown in the photos, it was an under- roof small room with low light, with only one besides table (We were two) and the wifi doesnt work there.

Holes in the towels. Old pillows with bits in them. Soap dispenser had 99.9% water mixed with 0.01% soap - why? Some staff don’t speak English, so handy I spoke Spanish. Defo not what presented on the photos! Place needs a refresh.

Everything it was noisy we were placed near the reception and that ment that during the night the attendant went up and down the stairs to open the door to noisey guests .However rationing toilet roll come on

Would be nice to have a hair dryer in the bathroom, but it might be on the reception, due to our short stay we haven't been asking anyone downstairs about that possibiliy.

The location is very close to the sightseeing attractions. The room was very comfortable. I didn't expect that there will be two sockets on both sides of the bed, as well as two light lamps. The duvets were warm enough for the winter time. TV works fine and have many channels, wifi connection was stable during our stay. In our room we have got a privat bathroom, which has all necessities and an extra roll of a toilet pepar. On the top of our bed we found very carefully folded 4 towels for each of two guests, also 2 shampoos and 2 soaps, despite there is a liquid soap as well in the bathroom, including one more clean towel hanged on the glass shower's wall and two paper cups to put a tooth brush or rinse a mouth. Hot water is funcioniting as it should. The main door of the entrance of a guest house is closed at night, but it's possible to ring the bell and, as we've been informed, there is alwats someone to open it during 24 hours per day, as we were back very late at 2 at night and we were able to enter :)

The heater in the room was jammed with a nail to prevent it from going beyond the middle - to save on electricity perhaps. This meant the room was not getting properly heated at all and it was cold and uncomfortable. This was very annoying and unpleasant.

Lovely room with a balcony and a nice clean bathroom. The staff were helpful when we needed to figure out parking.

We were satisfied. We have been to this hotel twice. The first time we had a room above a busy street and the second time a different, quieter one. This accommodation is in a great location.
