We could hear everything from the other rooms. There was no noise cancellation/isolation between the rooms. For the rest, we had a great experience.

We really enjoyed the full experience from the hotel. Everything was amazing, the hotel was beautiful, staff were wonderful and the room was great. Hotel has great amenities and the restaurant is amazing as well. Food options were great and the restaurant staff were exceptional.

If you have noisy neighbours - watching TV late night with high volume - your sleep may be impacted. Sound isolation is not tremendous.

We did like a lot the concept of the room being built into a small house, having a saddle roof directly reflected in a high aery ceiling of the same form. Bathroom is nicely and neatly integrated in the room.

We arrived during a very wet and rainy period. The first room we were showed to had a small flood so we were allocated another room. This also had a bit of a damp patch near front door. Think it’s a fault in the design of the rooms as there is no guttering to channel water away.

Fabulous breakfast and evening meal. Doggie exercise/agility area. Would love to visit in sunnier weather as pool looks amazing.

The room had some maintenance issues that required attention. I found the pool area overcrowding.

A calm desert oasis - the pool area is a big draw are. Fantastic for a break from the city. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent!

We would have liked to see a map of the property to understand the wider site and its facilities. The dinner menu did not change over 3 days and we would have liked more variety even if the ingredients remained the same. The rooms are not very soundproof.

The estate is still under construction with quite a few villas still being built. Our villa looked out onto an unfinished small dam and various construction work which was not ideal.

Well, the floor made of cork is very cool, but the bathroom was a mess. The tennis field was very sloppy on maintenance. That's great that they have a bathroom near the pool but it doesn't lock. Also, they use those bathrooms as a warehouse, storing machines, boxes and chemical products for the pool, all unprotected from the kids.

Great pool and breakfast! The bed was very comfortable and the room was very spacious. They have a padel field in good condition (a bit far away, like a 10 min walk)

Not a criticism, but I would have enjoyed it even more if the restaurant had more traditional food from Alentejo, but other people might think differently.

The hotel is gorgeous and the surroundings are beautiful and very peaceful. We stayed for my girlfriends birthday and staff were super friendly in giving us treats to celebrate, from cake at dinner to a bottle of sparkling wine in our room. Will definitely come back

I felt the pool area was too near the restarant so if you wanted to swim first thing or in the evening you would be oveooked by guests having breakfast or supper so not much privacy. However it is not a big issue and again the hotel team are wonderful and the whole experince was serine :) Would definately return

Room warms up too much. Extremely damp. AC screeches quite a bit. Too much light in the room when sleeping. Not possible to sleep in total darkness. Breakfast not so good.

We liked everything. We can suggest if possible to light some trees with projectors underneath for a beautiful effect. Another constructive suggestion would be to not put families with children next door to adults as the noise can be disturbing.

The location is fantastic. Right in the middle of the country side.with great unique views in a cork tree fields and forests. Perfect for relaxation wonderful swimming pool. Very nice staff,helpful and efficient.very good breakfast. Very good creative restaurant and staff. Bicycles are a plus.

Poor water pressure in bathroom. Cheap uncomfortable plastic toilet seat. Small indoor public area. Staff need more training .

The location and the architecture. The peace and quiet. Excellent food and good value for money. This helped to save our short stay.
