The hotel was great, our child loved the kids club and the girls there. The staff is excellent everyone was helpful and nice evey step of the way. The room was very clean and big and quite well equipped if you want to cook something, the only thing we were missing was a teabag and coffee bag at least for a first day and a washing up liquid, when you stay for a couple of days you don't really wanna buy it. But I think these are just a tiny improvement that can be done. Otherwise, our stay was great. Thank you

The sofabed needed updating and was a bit awful to sleep in.

The rooms were spacious and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The view from the top floor was fantastic. The apartment style rooms had everything we needed. The hotel provided us a cute cleaning package to clean your dishes. Daily roomservice was also something we didn’t expect. The fifth floor outdoor patio space was great better than walking indoors.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet had a very good selection for everyone. Did not try the evening buffet as for me ( fussy eater) seemed a little expensive, but there are local resturants within walking distance. The place is a nice place to stay

Really couldn’t think of many negatives. I’m sure there are people who are very picky and can think of a few. We are well-traveled and often enjoy high-end 4* comfortable stays in different countries, and were mostly pleased. If something is important to you, just email them in advance asking for details and ask for assistance whilst there as well. 

One thing we didn’t like… was the laundry. So there is a small laundry room (I think 2 washing machines and 1 dryer). You have to pay for it, which says €5, but it’s in fact €10 (ie if detergent is included, which of course it’d have to be). Better amenities would be needed for this- maybe a laundry service rather than self-service? or better machines? Or just tell people it’s €10 per load from the beginning). 

The Pool water some somewhat cold, we only swam once and actually preferred swimming in the sea (which even the end of Sep, and the beginning of Oct were great).

 Hope this was helpful for future guests; and again shoutout to all restaurant staff- the manager, waiters, servers, cooks. Thanks!

Overall we ended up being very happy with the choice of hotel, and the value we received for all the fees. We had the half-board option, which we found worked out great for us. We were a family of 4 (parents, 2 adult children) 1. 
The staff are just great. From receptionists to drivers, to waiters, servers, managers. They regularly check up on you to see if you’re pleased and how else they can help, always greet you with a large smile and are happy to answer any questions. Loved them going the extra mile in their job. 2. The meals: so many options and variety! Good quality, and options for all diets! Breakfast was repetitive every day (but so are 90% of other hotel breakfasts). On the bright side, there really was a lot to choose from: English breakfast, omelet prep section, pancakes, cereals, cakes, breads, yoghurt, fruits, juice and hot drinks, Prosecco). Dinner varied EVERY EVENING, with options ranging from fish (always), steak, pork, chicken, lamb, burgers, great cakes, pizza (great!).
 So overall, very happy with the quality and value of the food here. AND as mentioned, tstaff are very attentive, will keep asking you if you need anything, answer allergy questions, replenish drinks, clean every few minutes.
 The location: we were very happy with it. It’s somewhat quiet and secluded, in a safe area. The more buzzier places, incl. Albufeira are a short and cheap Uber drive away. The hotel provides free beach shuttles to 2 different beaches (we liked both, they were quite distinct).
 The room: we had a large family room for 4, and frankly it was more like a mini apartment (kitchen with amenities, utensils, plates, mini fridge; spacious living room, one very large patio balcony, one smaller balcony overlooking the large pool, ensuite bedroom, and a separate shower/toilet). Overall hotel: ground floor(reception, dining area, bars, general area) is very modern. The bedrooms and especially the corridors were starting to seem a bit old, albeit still clean

Maybe bar staff could be a bit more skilled.

Good location, friendly and helpful hotel staff, rooms are clean and beds comfy. The shuttle bus driver was very friendly and always on time. Restaurant Manager and all staff were very organized and helpful. I strongly recommend the hotel for family holiday.

It's not at walking distance from the beach but the free shuttle covers for that.

The hotel was renovated and everything is looking neat. Our Studio had everything we need for a short break. The staff was attentive and helping when requested.

One moody bar man at the north pool bar but it didn’t impact our experience as we just laughed about how rude he was! Giving uncut ice pops 🤣.

We have just had THE BEST time at The Patio Suite hotel. All of the staff were so accommodating and friendly. We arrived late and had delicious food waiting in our room. The rooms were huge! Simply yet beautifully decorated and very clean. The communal areas were immaculate and the decor was gorgeous! A fabulous range of drinks to choose from which we enjoyed working our way through and the dining experience was always amazing. Excellent variety and again super friendly staff who really made the whole stay for us, taking the children’s hands on arrival and walking them to the table and giving the children high fives when walking past. Don’t get us started on the entertainment team! The energy they bring to the stay is endless! The children adored Sharkie walking around the tables at breakfast and the kids club was casual throughout the day allowing the children to pop in and out for activities such as face painting, origami, mocktail making. They put on kids discos, karaoke and an amazing show in the evenings and by day us adults loved the water polo and aqua dance at the pool. Got involved with cocktail making on our last day which was great and there was live music most evenings we were there and a quiz on one night. There is a regular bus to the beach which is nice to be able to go to for a morning/afternoon although we loved the hotel so much that we found it hard to want to leave. The pools are great and warm and the kids pool was perfect for our two and four year old to splash around in. Ice cream tubs, slushy drinks and ice pops available on all inclusive and additional ice creams/lollies available to buy. Clientele were equally as friendly. Literally sobbed at our last breakfast this morning as we have made the best memories at The Patio Suite and have the staff to thank for that. Would 100% recommend and would absolutely love to return.

The games room was pretty empty and there wasn’t much around the hotel. Everywhere was a taxi ride away.

This hotel is a little gem. it was so clean with a lovely modern interior. The bars and restaurant were fabulous with the loveliest of food and the entertainments team around the pool and kids club were fantastic. Loved our stay and didn’t want to come home.

Not enough entertainment for us - no music around the pool. There was pool basketball later on in the afternoon and boules but could do with one pool being lively (constant music and entertainment) and one quiet pool. Also the evening could do with more entertainment as very little entertainment in the evening Also air con unit on balcony blew out hot air so unfortunately we were unable to sit out there as it was too hot. Other than these small points, it's an amazing hotel and we loved our visit

Fantastic hotel, spotlessly clean and staff couldn't do enough for us. Drinks were all branded. Food was absolutely amazing and fantastic selection. Room was huge with big balcony, kitchen and full size bath. Shuttle bus that ran back and fore the beach was a good bonus and we did beach yoga one day which was fab (provided by the hotel).

Only an observation not criticism there are quite a few loose tiles around the swimming pool

Breakfast was lovely, we also had dinner one night but the breakfast was better. Staff were all lovely couldn’t do enough for you and the hotel is gorgeous.
