The menu in the rooftop bar was quite poor, the service in the breakfast was not so good in our opinion, the pillows were uncomfortable.

Big and comfortable rooms, good location but not directly in the city center (we liked this fact), the views are amazing, nice spa.

We had a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment with a large terrace. Delicious and abundant breakfast. Gorgeous rooftop bar with spectacular views of the river and Port. The staff were incredible; every one of them friendly and eager to please.

Everything was PERFECT!!

I have stayed in many hotels all over the world and I stuggle to remember a better hotel (5* hotels included) that were as outstanding as The Rebello!! From the facilities to the OUTSTANDING staff, the breakfast .... EVERYTHING was just AMAZING!! We were very sad to leave and we are now staying in another 4* hotel that doesn't even come close to The Rebello!! I can't say enough about this hotel, its facilities and the staff ... just at ANOTHER level!! Well done to all for the amazing work you do ... you made our stay in Porto one we will never forget!! Would I go back .... in a heartbeat!!!!

Not much! All lovely but they could do with getting some different pillows, ours were a little too firm and not as soft as we expect hotel pillows to be. But that’s the tiniest of criticisms as otherwise we loved the whole thing.

Absolutely beautiful new hotel with the most perfect view of Porto and incredibly friendly staff. We loved the information map with restaurant and shopping recommendations, the ‘first round is on us’ mini bar and the little surprises like fresh fruit and pasteis de nata left each day. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and the rooftop terrace is gorgeous.

We were in a duplex with furnished balcony, kitchen and super view. Bedroom and shower room upstairs, and second toilet downstairs. Our friends were in a room on one level with kitchen and a large picture window but no outside access. Since we were there in April, and the weather was not that hot, their room was a better choice. The balcony would be super in warmer weather.

Beautiful views from rooms and rooftop bar, lovely breakfast, helpful staff. You are looking across the River Douro to the very busy old town, so the views are spectacular. As a venue, it suited us very well. You can walk into town, or take the river taxi straight across, or get an Uber. Ubers were very reasonable indeed, and came within a couple of minutes. The old town itself could be a bit noisy. Rooms very spacious. Bed and shower very good.

There is nothing I didn't like at the Rebello Hotel!!!

WOW-this hotel is absolutely awesome! We loved that it is one of the last hotels on the river, but so easily walkable to the main areas of town. There is a charming boat repair business directly across the street where we watched the craftsmen each time we passed by on our way to town. The interiors are the best parts of "industrial" style. Concrete floors and high ceilings and black accents. We used the spa and indoor pool--all excellent. Our room was huge with a nice plush rug under the bed but not all over the room. A large area with two chairs and a coffee table. And a wonderful view off the low balcony across the river. Breakfast there was plentiful and delicious! I worked with the Events coordinator here, Madalena Carvalho, to arrange a Meet and Greet Party for our wedding guests that were in town. We used the Rebello space called River Social Cafe & Market which has it's own entrance off the main street. Our party was 68 people and the space was perfect!!! I can not say enough about how professional and accommodating Madalena was while helping me to plan and pull off this event. She is a lovely lady and I know that the Rebello Hotel knows what a gem she is! We definitely will stay in this hotel the next visit to Porto--we can't wait to experience all it has to offer again!!!

Fantastic service from the time we were met in parking lot by a nice fellow that helped w/ our bags 'til the time we checked out. Great attention to detail, friendly, accommodating personnel, a truly great hotel experience. And, large, well-appointed room. This is a well-run hotel with a great location and view. Breakfast fantastic too!

Hot drinks at breakfast took too long to be served. I quite often had finished before my tea had brewed. The water in the room was not always restocked daily.

Masseur very experienced. TV tech advanced, could chrome cast Netflix from our phones.No bottleneck in Wi-Fi. The breakfast selection is excellent and tasty. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

Nothing not to like...the pool was a a plunge pool and you need to watch your step going in and out.

The staff were extremely polite, engaging and friendly. The breakfast was superb. Views were marvellous! The bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfy. It was in a great location as we walked to the beach and then walked into the city, with a market on our doorstep. I thought it was value for ££ and so did my friends. The icing on the cake was the rooftop terrace where the staff were very accommodating. I have recommended this hotel since returning :)

This was my second stay, and it was great! My daughter and I loved the location-a nice walk to the beach along the river. Breakfast is a treat. Everyone is cheerful and welcoming. Just fantastic!

Because Gaia is a bit "off the beaten path", our tour companies wouldn't pick us up from the property. And because Uber and Bolt aren't considered "public transportation", they had to go the long-way around to cross the river into Porto. Not a major issue, just need to include extra time to get around.

The two bedroom suite was huge, and the room was impeccably clean. It was great to receive a stocked fridge ready to enjoy some cool beverages all included in our rate as well. It kept us from having to immediately run out to the store. Breakfast was excellent, and service throughout the hotel was wonderful. Being in Gaia meant great access to the Port Wine cellars which was very nice, and from the Rebello there are spectacular views of Porto and the bridges.
