I couldn’t use the stairs to reach my floor but I understand if it’s for security purposes but it would have been nice to take the stairs

It did feel like luxury! A big surprise for us. We really felt very pampered and well taken care of

Everything. The service was the best I’ve experienced. Friendly, chatty, nothing any trouble, knowledgeable and offering help and information to improve our stay. Started a week before our visit with highlights of the area, bespoke recommendations and offers to help with bookings. The room and view were outstanding. Beds super comfortable. Large open area with amazing views of the iconic bridge. Didn’t feel like a city break. Spa was a real sanctuary that you had almost to yourself through well considered booking system. Breakfast was delicious. Staff, again amazing. The best pain au chocolats and pastal de nata ever

This is a gem of a hotel would return for a longer stay next visit to Porto. Room was spacious and very comfortable staff treated us very well valet parking and showed us around the property.

Stunning hotel. Great location, a short walk to cross the main Luis I Bridge into Porto Centro. Amazing spa, we had relaxing massage treatments which were amongst the best we’ve ever had. Lovely rooftop bar, with good music and drinks options. Helpful and friendly staff both in reception and rooftop bar

Spa had hydros but cold water

Really outstanding service at this tastefully renovated new hotel. The two bedroom suite was incredibly comfortable. Great beds and linens as well as comfortable seating. Personally, we loved the location, giving you incredible views of portal on the other side of the river and making afternoon wine, tasting a breeze. It’s a short walk over the bridge into all the action but quite peaceful to come back in the evening. Breakfast was made to order and excellent

The term Hot Tub is misleading as it is pool water temperature. We stayed 3 nights, one night on the second floor with an incredible view, and two nights on the first floor of boat wing with a very limited view. Food for dinner on Roof Top Restaurant was just average.

I can not recommend this beautiful hotel enough, a warm friendly welcome, gorgeous location looking across the Douro and a short walk straight into the main centre. Fab roof terrace, delicious food and drinks, the breakfast which is included is exceptional The spa is heaven and the treatments so good. We hired bikes for the day and they even provided beach towels Our room was just stunning a mini apartment so we had space to relax and decompress after a busy day I would go back in a heartbeat I just loved everything about it!

There was nothing we didn't like!

The location right on the Douro River was exceptional. We had a wonderful view of the river and of Porto from our room and balcony. Our studio had a lovely bathroom, kitchen and sitting area as well. The breakfast buffet was the best we encountered in our one month stay in Portugal. What a great variety of food, and you could order other items to be cooked for you, too. We also ate dinner at the rooftop bar and in the restaurant and had excellent food both places. Every person we encountered on the staff was so friendly and helpful.

Stunning views of Porto! Amazing rooftop bar and a beautiful spa. Great location and nice to have extra space with a kitchen. Concierge is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and fun things to do.

We had dinner at the restaurant, but there was no music or no candles, so it didn't feel cosy at all. Food was also not the best.

The rooftop has an amazing view of Porto - probably the best view in town! The room we got was very spacious, breakfast was excellent and the staff was very friendly.
