Rooster started crowing around 4:30am...in a way charming though

I wouldn't change anything.

This is a beautiful hotel with really friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was very clean and the room was very spacious with a lovely balcony. It is ideally situated in walking distance of the station and all the attractions in Aveiro. I would be very happy to stay in this hotel again.

Being near the train station I expected a noisy, mediocre place and was pleasantly surprised. While very close to the station it wasn’t noisy, the reception staff were courteous and let us check in early, the check out was seamless and the bed so comfortable!

Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. There was a nice bar and outside seating area. Parking was easy and secure underground. 15 to 20 minutes walk to the main town.

Cockeral making a noise from about 5am for hours!

Great location with car parking. Easy to walk to the main town. Very friendly staff. Comfortable room. Great breakfast.

Minor disadvantages include the lack of glasses in the room. But this was quickly corrected - they took care of the bar and the lack of chairs on the balcony.

Everything is very good. I won’t say anything about breakfast, we didn’t go, but I really liked that it was not included in the price. Very comfortable rooms, excellent hotel design. The presence of parking was also very useful.

An old historic hotel and located very close to central bus and train station. You can walk 10 minutes to the centre. The lady at the reception was very helpful.

We didnt have breakfast as it was extra , perhaps if it had been included in the price or slightly less expensive. It should be said we were only there one night.

Very nice old hotel with character. Room was large and the bed extremely comfortable. The mattress and bed linen of a high standard. Lovely bathroom and spotlessly clean. A little bit out of town but close to the train station and in a quiet spot. The staff were well trained and very helpful.

This is a fabulous hotel. The room was spacious with quiet A/C & a good sized en-suite bathroom. The staff were all wonderful & the whole hotel is spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice & great coffee. The Veneza Hotel is faultless!

A noisy Cockerell that started at 5am each morning. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Good location, very clean,staff very helpful and delightful garden area next to the koi pond that was enjoyable to sit in the sun and have a few drinks.

Only minor negatives: The optional continental breakfast was, at 12€, on the somewhat expensive side for what it is, and it would have been nice to sit outside for breakfast. In the room, there were no plugs near the bedside tables (mildly annoying for overnight phone charging).

Good location close to the train station and just off the city's main avenue. Very friendly and helpful staff who speak English fluently. Large and comfortable room. Wifi and AC. Excellent value for money.

A short walk from the station, and a bit further to Aveiro's Town centre, lovely garden area to sit and have drinks and be outside, lovely traditional style architecture, very clean, friendly and comfortable place to stay.

It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was quiet AC. It was nice to have a mini-fridge. The only thing the room didn't have a coffee maker.

The bar wasn’t open and when I tried to get a glass of wine I was told I could only get a bottle?

No parking available on the first day, had to insert coins every two hours for public parking.
