Hotel seems to be going through a transition/recovery from the pandemic and we noticed steady improvements as our stay progressed. Staff were excellent from Regina and Kevin at the front desk to Andressa and her team in the restaurant. Plus points: location, terrace overlooking the sea (but take your jumper for the evenings in June), good quality evening meal (try the sampling menu paired with wines), nice plush rooms with character, great staff. Not so plus: The local beach is very clean but can be crowded, great for people/sport watching though, I recommend trying Bar do Guincho (taxi 20 mins) for sun, sand, surf and good food...take jumper as it can be windy, Breakfast was a little basic but only because we opted for what was ready-cooked rather than what was available from menu, we recommend staff ask guests each morning what they would like e.g. poached eggs etc. Room Tip: If you opt for Superior room ask for the largest available.

This was quite a quiet hotel, very small bar which we didn’t see anyone using. However the outside terraced area was nice for drinks, food and afforded lovely views

Amazing place. Almost didn’t want to leave and visit town. Bathroom is modern, comfy beds and amazing view from room and Terrasse. Location is right on the water in the middle of old town.

Honestly can’t think of anything that we would have wanted differently, I guess parking is a bit tricky as it’s a really busy area and the hotel only has 4 parking spots. The staff were brilliant and we were lucky and able to use a free spot to the rear of the hotel.

Smashing Boutique Hotel right in the heart of Cascais stumbling distance to the shops, restaurants, marina and beaches. The rooms were large and comfortable, the staff were friendly and really helpful and the terrace was the best place in Cascais to have a drink in the sun and watch the world go by. We also liked that the restaurant & terrace was only open to hotel guests Monday and Tuesday so it guarantees some space to relax and chill. Great place.

Nothing. It was wonderful.

Where else would you want to be frankly! We had sunset drinks on the terrace then dinenr indoors in the beautiful bay window overlooking the beach. The dinner was wonderful, the service impeccable! Also thank you so kindly for the beautiful room. The natural grace of the building with its high ceilings and french windows was splendid. Next morning we had the wonderful buffet breakfast - perfect. There is no better location or place to stay.

There was nothing I did not like, but if I was to be picky the staff at breakfast did not match up to the rest of staff. Breakfast was largely buffet but there was the facility to have a freshly cooked option and to have freshly prepared coffee, but we only found out from other guests not from the breakfast waiter/waitress.

Location was perfect, we were in room 3, 2nd floor with a little balcony looking out across the harbour and village, really beautiful. The room was very big and very comfortable, with window views on 3 sides. Access to the hotel was very good, right in the centre, with everything close at hand, train station about 5 minutes walk. We had dinner, one night impeccable service and well prepared first class food. I particularly liked their own grown wine.

Unfortunately you need to have a degree in mechanical engineering in order to figure out how to use the shower. Not funny!

You can’t find a better location in Cascais and restaurant is top rate, especially the staff.
