The room was certainly on the small size, but given the price and location not so surprising.

Room was clean and comfortable. Location was perfect for our needs. Staff were friendly when we needed them and stored our bags for a few hours after check out.

The view from the room was a brick wall... literally the side on another building. Terrible. That was quite disappointing.

I had requested a quiet room away from the elevators, but my room was just steps away from the elevator bank, so there was noise late at night from loud people. Also, rooms facing the river (such as the one I had been assigned) also face a very busy street with lots of noisy traffic (including, one morning, a caravan of dozens of motorcycles) that echoes off the buildings. The large building across the river also detracts from the view considerably.

The location (close to the Blue Line from the airport) and friendly staff (who had great restaurant recommendations) were very good. The second-floor lounge with coffee and lots of comfortable seating was a great bonus, as were the refillable water bottles available on the floors. The building itself is a Chicago architectural landmark, and has some lovely features, inside and out.

Nothing, though it would be considered expensive for a 3 star Hotel in Europe by US prices it was very good value for a nice room and great location

Very helpful I requested a room on lower floor as I don't like elevators and they kingly obliged. Front desk staff were very nice. Was surprised by how large the room was.

The mattress had seen better days and the room Washbasin is located in the room area instead of inside the Bathroom.

Some sheets had stains on them, shower rod was rusty and there wasn't much clothing room or a dresser. Thin walls too but nothing that really kept me up.

All well really Reception politely send an email at 10:40 pm informing us our luggage lost in transit by airlines had finally arrived in the hotel after 3 days . We didn’t see the email and were relieved to see the luggage on the morning of our departure and would have preferred if they phoned us in our room the previous night.

Can be waiting for the lift for quite a while sometimes, but that is a pretty minor quibble.

Fantastic location and really helpful staff. When checking in they went out of their way to get us a room with a river view as we were there for a week, and were always willing to help with questions. The water station on each floor is a great touch, as is the free coffee on the 2nd floor.

I asked for a happy birthday card to be placed in room as it was my husband’s birthday trip. I initially got a reply that this will be happening but there was no card when we arrived and when I wrote back to the hotel on the thread I had with them no one even replied. Left me with a sour taste and I’ve never had this happening in any hotel before. I only asked for a card not any sort of gratuity so I feel like it was a very simple gesture that could have been done. Otherwise I think the room could have been cleaner and that paper coffee cups could be replaced with real mugs (or at least leave enough in the room for the duration of the stay).

Excellent location, close to everything. and a restful and quiet sleep. Rooms with river view are really something.
