Bed was a little uncomfy

Loved the location and the host met us super late to hand over the keys which was really great as we had a late flight. Apartment is huge and lovely big windows.

While we were aware that 2 people would sleep on the couch, we didn't expect it to be this hard. Not a massive issue but maybe worth knowing in case other guests also have sensitive beds.

Loved the place and the location, 10/10. The noise from the restaurants and bars below died off during the evening and were practically inaudible once windows and blinds were closed, so no issue with that. The place is spacious with good storage options. Upon our arrival, the sofa bed wasn't made and the apartment was only set up for two people, but the host quickly fixed the issue by sending somebody over who prepared the sofa bed and supplied us with more towels and such, which was an efficient fix. The bed room was decorated neatly and the double bed was very comfortable.

A damage deposit was required of 200 euros to be refunded after checkout .The apartment already was damaged ,We discovered no knobs on the oven making it unusable ,the living area electric heater was broken in half ,there was no plug for the bath and the bathroom door was badly damaged. We were told there would be tea and coffee provided which never appeared.Added to which the kitchen tap was broken and there was no washing up clothes When we arrived to check in at the arranged time the apartment was not ready for out stay We had to wait for it to be cleaned .After many emails and phone calls the host company offered a a very small discount for problems we encountered due to check in problems and broken facilities .

The location was excellent .We had the apartment at the front with balcony overlooking the square.

The house is spacious and clean and the location is just perfect. There was a little issue with the key when we arrived but the guy in charge of the check in handled it perfectly and he was very nice and he gave us many advice to enjoy Porto at its best. Obrigada Francisco!

The alley way at night was a little noisy. Also, the window beside the door to the apartment let a lot of light in from the hallway. A curtain would be very useful.

The only suggestion is to change out the bathroom shower curtain, which is old and moldy. Air con would be excellent but not that common.

The space/apt is excellent, the bed was comfortable, the location was terrific, and easy to check in/check out. Absolutely loved the apartment and the balcony especially! Windows were sealed enough to block the noise downstairs if you wanted to but we slept with it open to bring in the cool air into the room.

The location is great with easy access to the riverside and a view to bars and restaurants! Near the train station of Sao Bento. You will find all you need.

We had an infestation of ants, which we were told was down to the previous occupants leaving food out. The lift didn’t work on the first evening/ next morning. The TV in our opinion had a small screen.

There wasn’t very much storage/closet space.

Location was in a beautiful square right in the center of the old town with amazing views. Lots of restaurants and stores right outside. Lots of space inside the apartment. Laundry machine and drying rack. Management company was helpful and communicative.

Communicating through booking.com and via Lovely stays was confusing at times and some of the info got lost via this form of communication. Initially a check in at the apartment was agreed upon booking but we ended up going to the office to collect the key and there was no possibility of an early check in as previously discussed. We also didn't have any WiFi for our entire stay and the TV didn't work. No solution offered during our stay.

Beautiful studio and very, very good location. Would definitely recommend the apartment to everyone. Spacious and clean and quiet whilst being totally central to it all.

It is located on a main square with music late into the night and construction in the morning. There is no air conditioning and the windows must be left open to cool off the apartment at night, which meant that the noise was very loud. Only one fan available for beds in the living room and the bedroom.

The location was fabulous. It is right in the middle of everything. Only a couple minutes walk to the Sao Bento train station, the River and the bridge.

The apartment is not properly maintained, unless the host thinks that a mouldy bathroom, with broken tiles is normal.

Very loud noise from the outside, seagulls are having parties every night screaming all the time and it's like having them right next to you - some soundproofing is needed to avoid this. Besides, soap was empty and paper toilet was almost over when we checked in.

Everything was as we needed, we could have not stayed better. Few really minor things could be improved, like adding a top to the bed for sensible backs, and adding some hangers in the bathroom, which are never enough. If you have difficulties in climbing stairs, you should consider there’s a lift but it doesn’t bring from ground floor to the floor where the apartment is, otherwise the stairs are comfortable and bright.

The apartment is spacious, very bright and conveniently located in a lively area of the Ribeira, in the heart of Porto’s historical centre. The main attractions can be reached in few minutes on foot, enjoying a pleasant walking. The apartment is surrounded by restaurants, bars, and everything one may need during the stay can be easily found. The staff of LovelyStay is super welcoming and assisted us in all our needs, including booking a private car for picking us at the airport. The style of the apartment is essential but facilities are complete. The apartment was exceptionally clean. We could have not asked something better for our vacation in Porto.
