It was tooooo cold in the restaurant!!! The airconditioning was so cold!!!! and they didn´t change it...it was freezing and the staff at the restaurant wasn´t kind....Pool was a bit dirty. The dinner was buffet but it wasn´t good....few variety

They charged me half-day extra for late check out.

Old style 5 star from the 70’s (before the Japanese-style sad look) with a pleasant dolce-vita atmosphere. It actually needs some maintenance, anyway still looks great. They charged me half day for late check-out, that’s not fair because the hotel was almost empty. Food is great, really great: the best grilled meat we had in the whole trip, at a great value for money. Staff is kind, accurate and friendly. A nice stay.

Some things were falling apart, like in our room the wallpaper was peeling and around the hallway the walls needed some fresh paint, peeling stucco

This hotel does not meet the value of a 5-star rating; the staff's quality of service is very poor. They even gave us a room that wasn't properly cleaned. The quality is very low!

Lack of preliminary feedback: First, before booking, we had sent them several messages on booking, - they didn't reply, we had sent them an email, they didn't reply either. And that was during low season. Clearly issues with the management of the hotel. We went there specifically for such amusement as kayaking, jacuzzi, billiard, table tennis, yet none of those were available. We requested several times for any chance to take a boat ride, they said it was impossible and added that they don't provide such services, yet their brochures in the hall indicated the opposite. Ping-pong table was broken, billiard was completely destroyed with several balls lacking. The area around seems to be under constant and hopeless maintenance, hopeless because 70% of the territory should be completely rebuilt rather than refreshed, everything looked old and shattered, the wallpapers in the rooms falling apart, no bathrobes, no sockets next to the beds, minibar prices are unreasonable, plenty of insects. Nobody explained us when we were checking in what facilities are available and where they are - at the reception there was only one person speaking English and she was always busy. The hotel is clearly understaffed, they desperately need proper maintenance since it is literally falling apart. The area around is dangerous for children and adults - broken glass bottles near the jacuzzi and swimmingly area that is not working, unmaintained swimmingpool facilities and unsafe playground for children, although children's room is absolutely fine with great staff. Overall, the hotel is not good value for money. Maybe in early 2000s it was okay and I bet they charged the same amount as now. With all the disadvantages they should provide a decent discount for their clients, but they charge them as if this place is a newly refurbished five star hotel. This hotel deserves 2 starts, but not 5.

Huge area, almost no guests, at least when we were in low season, perfect for bird watching and relaxing near the river, the air is fresh, peace and quiet. Perfect breakfast, very pleasant staff, in general very nice rooms, especially with the view to the river, two big swimming pools. TV has a few foreign channels as well - French, German and a few in English. Nice wifi.

They charged me more the 10% tax what booking said was included I ended up paying 20 dollars per room more ! Very disappointing!!! Should never be like that

It is a 3/2 star max. Checked in at reception with no explanation of services! Where was the restaurant, pool etc. No tea/ coffee facilities in the room! Very large crack in ceiling. Restaurant staff very nice. Food , well below average.Quite disappointed

Restaurant options were poor... Food was very average, but had no alternative as in the middle of nowhere, a long half hour away from city centre.

When we arrived there were mosquitos in our room all night, so we didn't sleep well. The hotel is an hour from the airport. It is not close to the center of town. The staff did not help us with our luggage or show us to our room. They have a big water slide that only is for little kids.

Beautiful pool next to the river and bird life on the river. The staff placed rose petals on the bed because I requested it so when we arrived their were a few chocolates on the bed with the rose petals.

The hotel is old, outdated, dirty, filled with mold and mildew. The "manager" Jorge was unresponsive and clueless. The breakfast was mediocre. Everything was literally falling apart and it smelled awful. It's very far from the city and the roads are in deplorable conditions. Uber drivers would cancel every request for pick up and the neighborhood seemed dangerous and uninviting.

The Executive Suites are VERY Large. The hotel staff stated that they are being purchased by Marriott and therefore, have not kept it up in hopes that they no longer have to handle it's upkeep. The resort was once a rich mans paradise, now, its a slum.

I loved the river view room. You could watch the sunset from your room window. It was also a lot of fun to have dinner and play in the vivant Casino which is just steps from the hotel.

A lot of little annoying things, such as, no hand towels or bath matts, unless requested, mini frig does not work or provide any beverages, Though hotel by river, no kayaks, paddle board, etc. for guest to use or rent.

Great location, beautiful pools and decks. Food good enough, though greater selection at lunch time than dinner.

Many of the staff were very, very nice. But once food was ordered, it took a very long time for food to be served. About 80 percent great, 20 percent poor.

1.Staff in the front desk didn't use masks following the protocol for covid 19. 2. There was no mini bar, just water in the freeze. Also no hair dryer, slippers,... everything had to be asked for. 3. Poor recreation program for little kids compared to other hotels.
