You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Czech RepublicThere is no WIFI. The furniture is used and old. The hotel has all the best times behind it. But still is a good choose for one night stay before trek to the volcano.
The advantage of this accommodation is that it is a good starting point to visit Piton de la Fournaise. The staff is nice and they are able prepare a breakfast if you wanna to climb up the volcano before dawn.

United KingdomWe were surprised by the negative reviews on Booking.com - this hotel is really comfortable and the staff really look after you. The rooms and basic and utilitarian, but importantly clean and warm and the food was excellent. just what you need before/after a day hiking.
What a surprise! We picked the hotel as a no-frills overnight stop before climbing the next day. We arrived late to be welcomed by some excellent staff and given a warm and comfortable room. The on -site restaurant is truly excellent - some of the finest food we have tasted on this trip. We were leaving early the next day and breakfast was delivered to our room.

United KingdomThe bathroom is fully functional in its current state, extremely clean and has everything you'd need. Perhaps a little old so a refresh would work wonders! But this is a minor point.
Great location being very close to the volcano. You have your own balcony, all the essentials, the room had its own rustic charm and was extremely clean. We were leaving at 5am, well before breakfast the next morning so we got a tray of goods including tea, coffee, croissants and juice etc which was a very nice gesture from the staff there, they were very friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThe room could use a makeover. It's little things - perhaps a small table outside the bungalow; shower curtain; a placeholder for the shower head to keep it on the wall; you get the idea. Breakfast - great bread, but the rest was a bit .. underwhelming.
Great location for the visit to the big volcano. Staff - brilliant! The receptionist, kitchen staff ... everybody. Polite, efficient, professional. Top marks all around.
