“It is very well kept and immaculately clean. There are plenty to do for all the family with various pools, quiet and busy depending in what you prefer. Rooms are spacious and clean. Shop on site does groceries, good selection as well. This is our 2nd time visiting in a year, and would go back again.”
“This was a nice room for the price we paid. My brother in law booked a room with a balcony but it was quite small, however we booked a room on the ground floor (without a balcony) and it was much bigger. The area was lovely and quiet, a very short 5-10 min walk into the busy area but far enough away to be peaceful. 15 or 20 min walk to the lovely Marina which has restaurants and pubs. The area was really lovely, we didn't have one bad meal. Breakfast in the guest house was enough for our needs. There were boiled eggs, toast, bread, muffins and pastries with juices and some cereals, fruit, cold meats, the usual continental fare. Coffee was OK, sometimes there was a chemical taste, but I found it hard to find a really good coffee in Portugal on the whole. Our room was very clean and staff were very friendly and attentive. The bed was so firm that I was worried that I wouldn't sleep but actually we slept quite well. You could hire a safe in the room if needed. Air con worked well 3 out of 4 nights. TV had lots of channels and there was Sky News and some english movie channels too. People in Portugal are very nice. There is something for everyone in this area. I recommend visiting midweek if you want to avoid all the stags and hens, but there are nice tavernas that you can visit if you want a quieter night. Drinks are cheap at only 2.50 euros a pint upwards and 6 euros for cocktails on the happy hours which can be from 12 to 7pm! It's a really great place to visit, although I imagine the area gets rammed in July and August so choose your times wisely.”
