“The hostel was unattended when we arrived at check-in time due to a miscommunication with the owner. However, we eventually established contact with him and he made a special effort to welcome us a short time later. The beds and bedding were comfortable; shared kitchen and bathroom facilities were good; location very convenient. Would be happy to return.”

“Loved everything about this place, right on the lake, immersed in nature with Bancroft just a quick drive away. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and extremely clean, the beds comfortable. Mike is a great host, friendly and ready with tips for hikes and activities. The fire by the lake in the evenings was a very nice touch. On our last morning we also had breakfast in the resort's restaurant, cooked by Mike, and it was delicious. Plenty of parking space. Only regret, not being able to spend more time at the resort, chilling and enjoying the scenery.”

Rustic with a small fridge, Coffee maker and microwave They supplied everything we needed even a BBQ right outside our room!! We Cannot say enough good!! Truly was amazing They even gave a small gift to our little dog”
