Bedroom was spacious and plenty of drawers and cupboards lovely big bathroom with separate shower
Food was excellent and beautifully presented lovely atmosphere and the bar was very cosy with views across the countryside”
“Excellent base for Keswick walking holiday. Booked last week in April which was peaceful. Lodge was a real home from home. Cosy despite a cold week but good for relaxing on decking when the sun did appear. Cleanliness and facilities impressive for this type of accommodation.”
“What a wonderful few days we had in the lodge. We only booked 24 hours before and had great communication from Karen and Tim. When we arrived (early which was no problem) Karen offered us some milk so we could have a brew, this was a very nice welcome.
The lodge was immaculate with a finish that makes this place top notch. The welcome pack included some very nice local products that we made very short work of.
The heating was very controllable and even when is was cold outside it was lovely and warm inside.
Over the few days we were at the lodge Tim and Karen gave us plenty of local information which we used to have a very enjoyable break.
We well holiday in the Lakes again we will stay here if available.

“Lovely home from home feel with kitchen table, washing up liquid and tea towels thankfully as I forgot those! Large rooms, bath and shower. Washer and dishwasher which I didn't use, books, games and binoculars to see the wildlife in the field opposite. Parking space, and hive heating. Boots to be left near the front door on the tray, though I put mine near the radiator on newspaper as it rained a bit!”
