    “Our host, Liz greeted us and was very friendly. Made sure we wanted for nothing. Th apartment was cosy and clean. Beds were comfortable. There was a back patio with a lovely view of the garden and mountains. Good value for money.”

    “Due to exceptional circumstances (on the provider's side), we only learned late in the evening that we could not use the overnight stay. But the owner found a solution in a nearby hotel, all at their expense, she even added breakfast. A really nice gesture, although we were quite disappointed when we were informed at the location that we could not sleep there.”

Recently renovated to a very high standard, immaculately presented and stylishly decorated with a lovely mix of modern comforts and old world charm.The scenery alone is worth the visit ! Surrounded by panoramic views of the beautiful Limerick countryside, it's a very cosy and peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of our everyday city life. Our hosts, Carmel and Seamus were very welcoming and helpful, and conveniently live nearby. Looking forward to returning for a longer visit and the chance to explore more of the Limerick Greenway. Highly recommended ! .”

    “The location was perfect as were the host. Marie & Roy were so lovely and helpful we wanted to take them home with us. Everything was 100% and was sad to leave. We achieved everything we set out to do and enjoyed the time in Monaleen. Even a couple of local strangers offered to take us places when we were lost although we declined their offers it was so generous of them.Its a special place and perfect setting for a place to stay while going to visit places around Limerick.”
