  “The place is in a residential area so it’s quiet. Be prepared to expect a very basic and simple place. This is really an extension of their own home and the host is having another full time job. We visited during the Lunar New Year when it was not easy to find dinners outside and the host was kind enough to invite us to join her family’s dinner at a modest charge.”

  “A very nice and welcoming family, the father communicates well in English. The house is spacious enough to feel quiet. As the description stated, there was no air conditioning, but the house was cool enough during my stay in April.”

  “For me this place was home from home. It is so enchanting! Lots of really interesting collectibles and pieces of art. The whole place is draped in beautiful plants and feels so magical. I was only here for 3 nights but it felt like home and felt like family. They produce their own beer and coffee and wow, ‘wake up and smell the coffee’ literally! Woke up to gorgeous smell of roasting coffee beans. The place is also a cafe and has a wonderful atmosphere and of course they sell their delicious coffee here. I was shown lots of different ways to make coffee and taken to the farm where they process all the beans. I felt so welcomed and really it was so sad to leave. I had the best time here and it was the people that made it so particularly special. Can’t recommend this place enough. I hope to return one day.”
