  • The Spindle Guest Rooms Review score: 9

“This was a great location for exploring St Andrews. Our host, John, was extremely welcoming and very helpful. Whilst there was no official breakfast, we had a constant supply of savoury and sweet snacks, drinks and HOMEMADE by John cakes! The bed was so comfortable and, whilst it was not a very big room, the B nB had everything, including a gorgeous garden . It was lovely to see the bantams and ducks and listen to the blackbirds by the burn. Highly recommended!”

  • The Waterfront Review score: 10

“Absolutely beautiful property.. would highly recommend”

  • Burntisland House Review score: 5

“The building is an old bank building, which has been converted to a hotel. If you like "old" then you will like this. Our room (No.3, ground floor) was large with high ceilings. The shower was very good. The bed was very comfy. This hotel has a cottage in the back yard that you can rent. From the outside the cottage looked quite nice. The location at the end of High Street is quite convenient. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Distance to the airport. Convenient for a stay over before you fly from Edinburgh.”

  • Scooniehill Farm House B&B Review score: 10

“Scooniehill Farmhouse is in the countryside on a hill just a short drive from St Andrews. We had a lovely view from our bedroom over to St Andrews and the sea. The house was full of interesting and quirky items. We liked the map of the UK with bee stickers showing the home towns of the guests (is there a world map somewhere?) The bedroom was well equipped and had a generous hospitality tray. Sam and Mike were friendly, helpful hosts. We had a delicious breakfast.”

  • Kilconquhar Castle Estate Review score: 10
