  “This is the third Woestenhof property that we have stayed in and it was by far the best. Fully equipped with everything we needed and extremely comfortable. The WiFi is super speedy and, although the weather outside was very chilly, the heating system in the chalet kept us nice and toasty. A lovely large dining table provides plenty of room for food preparation to balance the necessarily limited worktop space in the tiny kitchen and, unlike the two previous Woestenhof properties we have stayed in, Beau Sejour has an oven and grill (as well as a combi-microwave and a double hob) which makes self catering so much easier. The king size bed is very comfortable, there is plenty of room for clothes storage on the freestanding rails and the thermal blinds at the windows make the whole place very cozy at night. The shower is fantastic - powerful, modern, clean and spacious - and the room can be heated to the temperature of your choice with the thermostatically controlled heated towel rail. The wash basin is regular size, rather than one of these tiny, cloakroom versions, and has plenty of room either side for bottles of lotions and potions. There is also a very large cupboard underneath which is very useful. The icing on the cake is that dogs are allowed, making our stay very nearly perfect.”

Excellent location for exploring the local area, small supermarket opposite for essentials, play park for kids 2min walk, plenty of parking. Was honoured to be the hosts first British guests.”

  “Clean and in a great location. Good kitchen with a lovely bathroom with a large shower. Beds were very comfortable and in a nice and quiet location. The life up to the apartment was also excellent. Local bars and restaurants in Kemmal are all worth a visit.”

  “Attractive large and comfortable detached cottage tastefully decorated with quality fittings located in the grounds of the owner’s property. Very quiet location and with an easy 15 minute drive to Ypres. The owner was very helpful and friendly but not intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Cottage d’Hoge Schure.”
