“I really liked Begonia Flowers. Set within Tongli Old Town, tucked away down a little lane, it’s in a great location. It’s simple, slightly quirky and very comfortable with rooms decked out in a subtle way with little fairy lights. We had a lovely big comfortable bed, with a electric blanket, which could come in handy on colder days. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, I would definitely stay here again.”
“Charming Guesthouse in the heart of Suzhou located in a quiet side road. Perfect location - you can walk to most of the sites. Lovely and very helpful host that helped us with all the logistics (as we don’t speak Chinese and didn’t have some of the essential Apps on our phone…), recommended a great restaurant for vegetarians and let us do a late check-out :) Although no breakfast is served you can sit down in the garden or cute living room and have some tea and coffee.”
