“Staying at Sam's House in Kaohsiung 85 Building was quite an experience! The room itself was absolutely gorgeous! My favorite part of our stay was the view! Ah... the view!! :) Amazing seaside and city views with a cozy area to put pillows and watch the skyline and boats. It was an unforgettable experience. The mattress was comfortable as was the couch in the living room area. Everything was remote controlled from the window shades, smart tv, music and huge projection screen. The bathtub is a traditional Japanese style and was very relaxing to use while you look at the skyline (if desired, window shade was available for privacy) or watch the mini tv in the bathroom. The water pressure in the shower room was incredible and will literally blow you away if you desire! Think... the episode of Kramer in Seinfeld. lol! There was also a Japanese toilet which is always a treat as these are not common in the Western part of the world. There are no longer snacks on a different floor but housekeeping does provides a few treats in the room. Great communication with Housekeeping; they were very accommodating and helpful. they did my laundry since the washer takes a while to run. It's true that the 85 Building is a bit tired and a little sad but if you can look beyond this the rooms at Sam's House are the exact opposite and will make your stay in Kaohsiung a memorable time! Definitely recommend!”
