    “It is not the prettiest building, an old border office facility. Mainly intended for truckers and transients. Conveniently located next to the highways, they offer clean rooms, quiet enough to have a good sleep. Clean showers and bathrooms. There's a good breakfast included, not fancy, but enough to start the day. The restaurant offers basis non fancy homestyle food at reasonable price. There's a Lewiatan market on premises, not the big selection the normal superstores offer, but everything needed in good quality is there. All facilities are offered 42/7. Good location when passing by or work nearby is the task.”

    “A really lovely property in a lovely location, the owners have been working to renovate this beautiful house and still have some work to do but the room we stayed in was renovated to a very high standard, was very spacious and comfortable and perfect for our needs. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, we were really impressed and will definitely book again next time we are in the area. The nearby lake is just gorgeous, the town picturesque with a couple of good restaurants and shops, the area is great for cycling, walking, fishing, hunting and lots besides.”

    “A welcoming hotel on the outskirts of Zagan. It was a bit of a pitstop for us between Colditz and Krakow but we wanted to see The Great Escape tunnels, Tom, Dick and Harry. It was a bit of a slog walking from the train station with our bags on a Sunday night, but we were welcomed with a couple of cold beers outside before bed!”
