“Really helpful staff and smooth check in process. The room was large, warm and clean. Big comfy bed and great shower. Nice common spaces with a clean kitchen. Simple but pleasant breakfast included with toast/cereal and tea/coffee.
Safe in bedroom appreciated. Upscale atmosphere for a hostel with good attention to detail high standards throughout.”
“Hostel is new, the single room is spacious and clean. I appreciated having the big shelves for ease of sorting of luggage. Toilet is heated as well which is a plus with the cold weather. Breakfast is available from 6am which is perfect for the first bus out to Torres del Paine. It’s also less than a 10 mins walk from the bus terminal. Hospitable and friendly staff on site always available to help.”
“Very interesting architecture of the hotel, big comfortable room with modern bathroom (even floor heating). Breakfast was nice. Location is good, just short distance from town, 5min with car. Staff was extremely nice and helpful, specially Marcelo who helped us in urgent situation. There is parking in front of the hotel. Would definitely reccomend.”
“The hotel room provided us with a magnificent view facing the Grey Glacier and the Torres del Paine mountains. There was one fantastic member of the restaurant during breakfast who spoke good English, was welcoming and very helpful. She is in the wrong job...move her to the reception please. She will do a fabulous job.”
“We'd had all our fresh food confiscated (understandably) by the Chilean customs, driving from Argentina. As the nearest shop was 80km away, we had little to eat on our late afternoon arrival at our lodging. Our hostess kindly gave us enough food to make an evening meal. She was really kind and helpful.
A great location on the banks of the Serrano River and just a short distance from the from the southern Torres del Paine park entrance.
We learned of an excellent pizza restaurant just inside the park nearby.
Woke up to a beautiful vista of the mountains in the park.”
“A most beautifully presented and totally unique hotel, hosted by Alvaro (a true gent) and his sons. It was towards the end of the season and the place was quiet but I was made incredibly welcome and would not hesitate to recommend the place. The restaurant is a delight to behold, with the chunky wooden truss structure, and I was given room 16, with the corner window. Great location and surroundings, beautiful room, lovely personable service, great food.”
“Gorgeous surroundings - lots of great views and local walks. Very relaxing stay with lots of places to rest (eg sofas in bar / spa). Staff were very friendly and always happy to help. They allowed us early check in. Food in restaurant was very tasty and not too expensive (given the remote location we appreciated that).”
