“Hibiscus house was a great place to stay on the island. The room was great and the bed comfortable. Air conditioning was good. We had a TV and access to Netflix and other programs. The breakfast was great. Both Nicola and Allen were great hosts. When we asked about anything, they were very helpful in answering our questions. They picked us up from the ferry and took us back to the ferry. Our room was cleaned everyday.”
“It's located in a safe area, very close to public transportation. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spotless. The kitchen has everything you need, is clean and spacy.
Staff was very kind, helpful and really courteous!!!!
Definitely recommend staying here :)”
“Very nice Hostel with several bathrooms, a pool, a kitchen and Tabletennis. The Staff was really friendly and giving advices if possible and helping with getting a taxi. The Room was really clean and quiet.”
“We loved the Contadora island environment. Breakfast was really good and Robert is an excellent and generous host.
The island is small and if you're OK with uphill walking you're good. There are golf carts for hire (via La Romantica) and golf cart taxis available for when the heat is too much. We loved walking the island but at around noon it is just too hot.
The beaches are amazing. We were there in May and it was very quiet. Swimming during sunset at executive beach was the absolute best.
There are many small restaurants on the island. We LOVED the hot sauce in particular at Restaurante Angelina.. and spent most of our days on the Playa Larga beach, where the Restaurante Y Bar Pimienta Y Sal makes the most incredible fried fish, great cocktails etc.
All the people we met on the island were lovely and we felt safe and very well taken care of.”
“The place is great, slightly secluded and quiet, nice walking distance from places to get steps in. The room was spacious and super comfortable. The shower was an unexpected gem, great pressure and sensitive to whatever temp chosen”
“Nice hostel, with relaxing pool area. Included breakfast was nice too. Room was a little small, but okay for a couple of nights.
Good location, with a few shops nearby.”
