  “Le Scailleteux is a beautifully renovated property, with very creative use of some of the old and attractive features. Caroline gave us a very warm welcome, and recommended many of the local attractions. The property is very comfortable and well equipped, and we appreciated the underfloor heating in the main kitchen and dining area. We enjoyed the old game of riboulette! We thoroughly recommend a visit to the Bastogne War Museum, one of the most interesting and creative museums we have ever visited.”

  “I stayed here for a week for a writing retreat to edit my PhD thesis. The hosts were very kind and welcoming, even helping me get some basic food supplies when I arrived, which I appreciated. The cabin is peaceful with nice views (I could see woodpeckers and robins from the desk) and is well-equipped, with supplies for coffee/tea and cooking as well as blankets. Even though it snowed during my stay with temperatures in the minus degrees, the heating worked well and I was comfortable throughout.”

  “Great place to stay as a family of four, very well equipped, featuring separate main bedroom and a very cozy under-the-roof space for kids. Were very pleased by a warm welcome by the host during our late arrival and specifically want to mention lots of plants inside which makes the air inside extremely fresh and homely. Will try to book it in case we are again in the area. Highly recommended.”
