“15 points out of 10 to the freshly acquired staff. It was their day 1. I didn't mind being their first customer at all. And boy did it challenge all of us, ha ha. THANK YOU for staying friendly and cheerful, even when I did use a swear word or two when I thought I would have to call my car assistance company to get my car freed out of the mud (which in this place was not even deep). I learnt stuff about my car that I hadn't taken the time to learn in the ten years I've had it (while with my car before that, I knew like my own pocket). Loved it.
Heating was great. Loved the bed, and the little kitchen corner, especially the 3/4 fridge and the separate 1/4 freezer (which means, you could plan a longer stay with more freezer products).
This camping site definitely has potential, but needs a lot of TLC to bring it out.”
“Lovely room for the night with a great powerful shower and underfloor heated bathroom, in a great location for what we needed. Beautiful country views. The lady who runs the hotel was wonderful and kept the kitchen open for our really late dinner on arrival. The meal was amazing, this feels like a true gem of a place and I can't reccomend it enough. Definitely catch a meal with your room if you can. Breakfast was great also, enough to take away for lunch!”
