“We liked very much the location at the lakeshore, the view from the livingroom through the floor to ceiling windows is wonderfull. We spent a week here in February and it was a winter fairytale with a lot of snow.
The house is roomy and warm, the double bed and the couch comfortable, the sauna powerfull. The kitchen is small but it has everything one needs to prepare meals. The grill outside is a dream.
Very convenient located is Purnu ski resort, just 15 Km away. We enjoyed every day of our holiday, relaxing in the house or walking on the frozen lake.”
“Päivi is a very nice and helpful host. She waited for me on arrival to hand out the key. The apartment is cosy and well equipped. Päivi provided coffee, tea, hot chocolate and also fresh fruits. Next to the apartment there is a supermarket, pharmacy and a coffee shop. On request I could also use the sauna in the house next door.”
“I cannot believe how lucky we were to stay here. Pictures cannot do it justice. Every detail was lovely - from the quality of the finishes (my partner, who lives in Finland, said the saunas were the nicest he’d ever been in), to all the thoughtful touches (generous linens and towels, chopped wood, a beautiful Easter decoration, children’s toys, spring bulbs, spare shoes… the list goes on!), to the many surprises which weren’t mentioned in the description on booking.com (we both loved the Kota in the woods)!

“The cottage is located in a quiet and beautiful place by the lake. The host is very helpful and easy to communicate with. Upon arrival he met us at the place and showed around. The cottage is very clean, comfortable and has everything needed for staying. Great sauna, great lake with a lot of opportunities for fishing. Picking berries and mushromms is very much possible even though the season was low during our stay.”
“At first I was a little concerned and also confused by this property as when you arrive it looks like you are at the wrong place, it appears like a storage unit. However, that is only the front of the property. When entering the view is stunning! The back door backs onto a small decking area overlooking a lake through some trees.
There is everything you need here for a pleasant stay. The bed is large and extremely comfortable. All the appliances one would need for a stay. The sofa is also very comfortable and there is a TV. The decking area has a BBQ and on site there are actually tennis courts, although I am not sure if they are available for use.
The host was helpful and swift with replying, an easy pick up of the keys from a lock box. All in all, a very good stay with an evening view you cannot forget.”
