“The Police came when I was robbed. The Location was in a bad area. I was jumped Saturday night walking back from the Wedding at the Black Hawk Hotel. It looks nice enough and people were out, and the police came, but still, you should have warnings. It was so close you would not call an uber but two punks ran up behind my husband and me and grabbed my purse. Being from Chicago, we ran after them. They got into a car and drove off. This was in Davenport Iowa at midnight. The policeman who took the report was Officer Marks. They did notify the hotel and we had new hotel cards for our room. We did tell them where the phone was thru tracking. They got my phone, cash, $37.00, I.D., and the purse that was beaded and was my grandma's that my mom gave me. The next day, we found the phone on our own thru a tracking device my daughter has on my phone.”
