“The location is a little far from the center, but we like to walk a lot, so we chose it knowing that. Every day we walked through the huge park Gross Garten while going to the alte Stadt. Breakfast is good, staff is friendly.”
“Great value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room with air-con and even a separate shower. We upgraded to a quiet room (free of charge) which overlooked the car park.. Fantastic breakfast with a lot of variety ie boiled or scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, cooked meats, cheese, fruit etc. Amongst the best we’ve had staying in hotels in Germany..The car park is free . Nice outside seating area. Easy access to the city centre ( bus number 68 or tram number1). Bus/tram stop just around the corner. You can even walk to the old town, took us about 35 mins and we are OAP’s. Strongly advise taking a trip to Bautzen and Gorlitz, easy to get to with the train. Also advise trip to Bastei bridge…again easy with the train via Dresden Mitte station. There is a petrol station over the road where you can get beer and wine if you wish as well as sandwiches and rolls. The hotel does have a bar but it closes at 9:30pm. Would recommend a visit to a restaurant called Omas’ which is just a 10 minute walk away. They serve traditional German cuisine in rather large portions!! Very popular with the locals. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.”
“The staff were particularly helpful in every aspect. We lost our luggage on flight and the staff were very supportive in getting it returned same day!
Breakfast was excellent with everything available. Restaurant produced very good meals particularly the buffet on Sunday evening which was just what we needed.”
“Good location near Mitre station. I had a quiet room on the 1st floor.. Comfortable bed and clean shower room. Good lighting. I didn't have breakfast..”
“Very clean .Nice location to city centre. Modern building. Super friendly staff. My room was a good size though as it was laid for upto three people, well ....”
