  “The breakfast was good. The location is about 7 min walk away from the airport. It is nice and quiet, beautifully set with plants around the outside seating area. Clean and tidy.”

  “Marie, the hostess and proprietor is absolutely amazing. This is a first rate B & B and we would certainly stay there again. The room is large and spotlessly clean as is the bathroom. The Inn is set amidst a tropical garden tended with loving care. We had an early dive booked on our first day and since with would not be able to take advantage of the included breakfast (amazing buffet by the way!) Marie prepared us coffee and sandwiches to take with us. If Statia is your destination then Papaya Inn is for you.”

  “A lovely guest house with the most amazing garden. We spent a week here and loved sitting in the garden to relax and read and listen to the sounds of nature around us. The owner was very welcoming and helpful and attended to an issue with the wifi very quickly.”

  “The breakfast was simple, but very tasty. It reminded me of homecooked breakfast, because there were new choices every day. On our jokingly request for a fried rice for breakfast, the staff actually went through with it the next morning.”
