“This was our first night after a very long flight and this location was perfect -- close to Amersfoort Central station and it had all the amenities we needed for our one-night stay. The electronic key system made it easy to access the place.”
“The appartment is compact, central and convenient with a Jumbo supermarket (good choice of fresh & other food) within a 5 min walk. We loved the view from the window over the canal and the quiet location, in easy walking distance of the centre. The kitchen is certainly adequate, with induction hob, combi oven/microwave, kettle, dishwasher and espresso coffee maker. There's a comfy sofa, flat screen TV and CD/DVD player. Laundry facilities are on the ground floor. The staff were there to greet us and explain how things worked, also available for any problems during our stay.”
“The place is a former stable that has been renovated and transformed into appartment units, each with a small terrace. You may even see some sheep grazing in front of your door, so there is a touch nature! The kitchen part is equipped with plates and pots for basic cooking and there is microvawe/grill, induction cooker, and kettles for coffee/tea. Next to the kitchen counter is a living/dining area and the bed is on a mezzanine (with Dutch-style, rather steep stairs). There is a skylight, which gives lots of light in the morning, even if all the window curtains are drawn for privacy. We didn't have a great weather, but the floor heating compensated it, which you can adjust for your liking. Overall the place is clean (our bathroom was a recently renovated one), simple but adequately furnished for the purpose of staying. It is a great value for money! It is located on the edge of Woerden on the south-east side, near the lake. Woerden is a hidden gem, with picturesque center and a generally calm place. It's only 10 mins train ride from Utrecht, and has direct train connection to Leiden and Amsterdam too, each well within an hour. Trains run every half ours, and even late night. The railway station is a bit far by foot (35 mins, albeit a pleasent walk), but we could rent bycicles from the owners, and by that its less than 10 mins. Even though we have travelled around in the region and visited many places, our most memorable moments are riding the bikes on Cattenbroekerdijk each morning and evening to/from the station. The scenery is just beautiful. Last but not least our hosts were very nice too!”
“superb location in a middle of a forest. Quick and well organised check-in procedure. Good facilities, plenty of things to do if travelling with kids. We used it just to sleep at night, so cannot add much on the services at the holiday park.”
“Great apartment! New, big, nice, clean, well equipped, parking in front, in beautiful little town, great communication with host👍 great choice if you travel with the car.”
“We loved our stay here. Beautiful setting on the farm with lovely views and animals, it would be great for children. We had a friendly welcome when we arrived and found the apartment was well equipped and there's also a communal kitchen with more equipment with great window down to the cows. The apartment was immaculate, with very comfy beds. I'd definitely come back and would highly recommend.”
