“Brilliant location opposite the Palais des Papes.
This is a beautiful old dwelling has been tastefully refurbished to a very high standard.
Added benefit of a gorgeous shady courtyard and garden with seating area.
Superb restaurant next door with a lovely view in the evening of the palace.
Wonderful host Alain who served a welcome coffee in the garden and then a rather nice apéro before dinner. The breakfast was particularly good and beautifully presented.”
“Michel and Christiane were wonderful hosts with great knowledge and tips for exploring Avignon. Villa Pauline is beautiful and we loved our daily swims in the pool, whatever the temperature! We felt lucky to have found this place and spent a few nights there.”
“Basically, we liked everything. We were extremely well looked after and had a very good breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble for our host. A lovely historic house in beautiful grounds/surroundings. Our dog was also made most welcome and loved the local walks.”
“Breakfast not included. Very pleased to find a fridge. Very good location for all sightseeing. Amazingly quiet. Church bells did not disturb us. Courtyard a beautiful scented surprise. Staff welcoming and informative of the area.”
“The host was so obliging. Great location. Extremely charming buildings. Comfortable beds. Fabulous location close to Avignon but in a very nice village.”
“Delphine was a fabulous host, made us feel very welcome on arrival and showed us through the studio. It was very spacious and beautifully decorated. We had planned a swim in the pool that looked very inviting, however, we arrived a little late. Delphine served breakfast in a separate ‘conservatory’ dining room that was just gorgeous and there was a large selection of fruit, croissants, yoghurts, toast and homemade jams. We would highly recommend staying here.”
“The location is very good, quiet, within 15 minutes-walking to famous tourist spots (Ex. le palais des papes) and Avignon Centre train station. The hosts were very kind and helpful, with nice breakfast included. We spent a very nice moment in Avignon.”
