“The rooms were basic but okay. Beds were quite comfortabel and the shower was warm. The staff were really nice and were staying up late to drink some beers and play some music. The backpackers feeling was really nice and it was the perfect place to meet new people in Yogyakarta. The pool was also a nice addition.”
“Excellent place. uncompromised Marriott standards. Fantastic staff, my wife had a medical issue and the staff came out excellent in support to see a Dr. Good mall near by and we had a wonderful stay.”
“Probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in for this price.
Outstanding, friendly staff.
They have tours to Borobodor and other touristy places for a very reasonable price.
Room was clean, air conditioned and didn't have any mosquitos or flying insects.”
“The location was nice as it is a quiet green oasis near the main streets by taxi . Lovely small pool area, lush gardens and outdoor cafe area and restaurant. Women are meant to wear a modest bathing suit in the pool. Laundry service available. Staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. 2 minute walk from a mini market. The nearby call to prayer was not a problem for us. The hotel is a beautiful historic building. A taxi to Borobudur is about 1.5 hours each way.”
“Big selection of Breakfast Buffet, everything you need to get your adventure started in Jakarta, absolutely brilliant. For dinner we were dining at the Indonesian Restaurant and it was absolutely delicious, maybe not rice with every dish as an option but it is common in Indonesia and important for your daily activities.
The bar was brilliant, and the staff everywhere super friendly and helpful!
Special shoutout to the bartender with the Glasses wearing the suspenders, he was super super kind we had great conversations and he even would have given me a recipe for the traditional tea in Java and spices for it, but I was unfortunately falling ill the last night and felt sorry to not being able to say goodbye as I only seldom see such kindness of people like here in Indonesia. Please hotel greet him from my end and thank him for everything.”
