The streets leading to the domain are a bit dark and scary at night. There is more development in the area so not everything is spot on - I am sure it will become with time.

Amazing location and beautiful views. Very quiet, generous and beautiful surroundings, very close to the highway though quiet and spacious. We had a very deep and refreshing sleep, a most charming breakfast on the terrace, waking up to the church's bells - very pleasant. It was a last minute decision to stop for the night and we consider ourselves lucky with this choice. The domain is developing more so I believe it will become a landmark for travellers.

The staff was really friendly and helpful but according to my experience, it will be nice and useful to have instructions about all services you provide near to reception.

The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The room was basic - a big comfortable bed and functional bathroom. A great place to relax far from a busy city and noise.

It’s already a bit worn down and there were some spots, which could have been cleaned easily. The lightning in the rooms was not the best and there were no lights at the night stand.

For us it was well located for an overnight stay. They serve breakfast (you get 4 options to choose from). We’ve been gifted a big bottle of wine, which was pretty much to our liking.

The location was very nice, outside of the noise of the town, the staff was very friendly, The breakfast was good, I had dinner at the location, excellent local food and a free glass of local wine. Giulia (Iulia) was a perfect host, she was acting as receptionist, waitress and she told me she is dealing with the wine (somellier) . She was very friendly and she told me a lot of interesting stories about the place. Also the other staff on duty next days I spent at the location was very friendly and helpful. I recommand this location for other guests

due to reception event, diner could be served as from 19.00. when in the mean while enjoying our wine and view on the balcony we were asked to leave and hide underneath the stairs as we were not to be seen by the guests inside from the reception. As the reception extended till 20:15, we had to wait till then. The food of the diner was very nice although the large dining room and table for 8 when you are with 3 doesn’t feel cozy. Nevertheless we enjoyed the food. It need to be said that the personnel was very helpful and were not to blame, but from a management point of view is not the best way to ensure your guests are feeling welcome.

As it is a wine hotel, we were very surprised to get a warm bottle of wine which has gone bad already. however the staff was really nice and tried to make up for that after we asked them.

Bad luck for us, we stayed 2 nights in a weekend and the restaurant organized private parties. As is the bad habit in Romania, the music was terribly loud, you could hear it from the room and you could feel the vibrations. Fortunately, the parties ended around 11 p.m.

There wasn't a fridge in our room, but the receptionist put our drinks in a fridge in the kitchen.

I missed only in the morning, that there was no sign where I can eat my breakfast.

I liked almost everything, it is an excellent place to spend not one, more nights. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was good, the staff very ok( waited for me long hours until my train arrived late). Most of all I liked the discount of the wine they produce there. My father was studying wine industry in Ciumbrud long time ago, ( he is almost 80 years now) ,and he was absolutely delighted that I brought some wine for him. I highly recommend this place, and surely will bring some groups here in the summer. I am touristic guide.

- the doors are of low quality, hard to close - queen room lacks a closet/cabinet. There is nowhere you can store your clothes -a mini fridge wouldn't hurt.

-receptionist/waitress/wine saleswoman had a very pleasant attitude -staff was always willing to help or respond to our special requests -queen room had a very large bed -the location is great, so the view is really nice

First, the bed sheets and the towels in our room had holes and spots here and there. The worst was that there was no warm water , and we couldn't wait to have a shower in the evening after a very long day . I called the receptionist and she said that the people in charge are not at the location and they are not even answering the phone. We had to wash with that freezing cold water. Only in the morning the problem was fixed and finally got warm water to wash. At dinner, there were very few variaties of wine, as the bottles were just sold to an unexpected customer. For breakfast we had to step into the kitchen to announce our arrival , since no one would come and check. Even though there was no one else in the dinning area, and our voices could be easily heard, as the kitchen door was open

We actually came here for the good wine we knew they had. The location is on top of the hill, with nice view towards the town and the mountains. The food was very good. The lady at the reception was prompt to answer our questions and with the dinner as well.

Initially we were in room no. 6. When we complained because the bathroom door was malfunctionning and we couldn't close it and because the toilet seat was completely broken, we got room no. 5. We had booked rooms with breakfast included. We had been informed that the restaurant would be closed because of a wedding they were organising (beware that they also organize events!), but the breakfast would however be available. In the end, the breakfast consisted of some sandwiches left unrefrigerated on the reception desk the night before (no coffee, juice, pastries etc.), see attached picture. Dogs were roaming free around the hotel early in the morning.

1. They were hosting a large party on the upper level, which lasted for 6-7 hrs until 22,30-23,00 hrs - not happy at all that I wasn’t informed in advance about, when making the reservation. I would have canceled if I knew… 2. The shower in room 5 was terrible, water was everywhere on the floor after 6-7 mins of showering. The sewage was not working properly… 3. The mattress was old and the springs inside were making noise every time I was moving. 4. The restaurant was closed that day (sic!) without prior information action, therefore the only option to get some food was to drive to the city. It could be that I was simply unlucky that day, but after long drive I had different and higher expectations, based on the other reviews, therefore my huge dissatisfaction! I’m sorry - îmi pare rău!

The wines in the shop have almost the same price as in any other restaurant. we had the 'spa room'. The tub was in the room almost glued to the bed. Out room, which was converted from a spa into a normal room is all tiles till the ceiling and it was freezing when we arrived. We triedto use the bathtub but the water came rusty and dirty into the tub and left a smudge of ugly dirt on its side. The room also quickly filled with steam which we cleared with difficulty because of the poor ventilation to so we had a hard time sleeping. The property is located on top of a hill between two cemeteries

The mattres was too hard. The light in the bathroom was week. There wasn't hairdraier. There wasn't a mirror. Breakfast was dull.
