The shower door leaked water, which had to be stopped with a towel from puddling in the bathroom. However this did not affect our comfort in the room.

We visited in early spring and outdoors it was chilly, but the room was excellently heated. Very nicely designed and very friendly staff. The cellar is a very cosy place to enjoy a drink at evening and breakfast. There is outdoor seating space as well.

Despite being offered at a discounted rate from Booking.com, the original price tag around 600 RON suggested a certain level of quality that was not entirely met, it lacked some basic amenities such as shampoo, and the pillows were not to my personal liking. Restaurant: Unfortunately, the restaurant experience was extremely disappointing. On two separate occasions, the food failed to impress. For dinner, I ordered a chicken salad described as "fresh salad with breast chicken crust and lemon and honey dressing." However, the reality fell far short of expectations. The salad consisted of bagged lettuce that was dry and lacked seasoning, with an underwhelming mayonnaise dressing. The salad was really sad looking, not worth the price at all. We felt like we had been fooled because the description was really fancy and the salad was a couple dry leaves straight out of a supermarket bag and some half tomato cherries. Breakfast was an even greater letdown. Arriving at 9:30, we found that there were no eggs left, and even the vegetables had run out. Despite this, there seemed to be no effort made to replenish the supplies. While the staff member overseeing the location was polite and helpful, it didn't make up for the disappointing quality of the food.

The stay at this location good. The room was clean, cozy, and warm, and there were soap bars and shower gel provided.

This is such a lovely property in the heart of the Sighisoara citadel. The room was cozy and decorated with style offering a lovely view of this old medieval city, which really enhanced the overall experience. Tasty breakfast also. The staff were exceptional, providing top-notch service with a genuine smile. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction made me feel really welcome.

Right in the centre of the sighisoara citadel (old town), the room had everything we needed and was perfectly clean, warm and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and helpful with everything. Breakfast was delicious. 100% recommended!!

The bed was not comfortable, there were an old, used mattress (it needed to be changed) and very bad pillows. Also, the shower door was not insulated and all the water kept running through the door and into the bathroom.

I wasn't aware that you couldn't drive there. Had I known to park outside of the gate & take the train up the hill, it would have saved me some time and aggravation. Maybe that's on me and/or my GPS. If you have a car: when you come to the gate, just park in that parking lot and wait for the old-fashioned train. It goes every 15 or 20 minutes.

The on-site restaurant was great. The room was cozy and clean. The staff was very nice...it's the same as the restaurant staff so you just locate them. The surrounding area was nice to walk around but there is no parking so if you have a car, it's best to park at the bottom of the hill outside of the gate and take the train up.
