Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyFirst of all, the hotel has a fast food reception, which will be a problem at midnight or for people with suitcases. The address of the hotel is at the fast food, not at the hotel building, so all taxis stop by the restaurant. The staff does not speak a foreign language, most of them are abroad. No one offered me breakfast, I paid for everything. At first glance, the room is beautiful, not suitable for people who are not used to the hustle and bustle of the city. The boulevard is right under the window. The rooms are warm, the satellite TV works. Unfortunately, what is a disaster are the beds, only when you sit, they creak and at night you can hear others sleeping. We had a room with a broken shower, which is already described in an old review and the owner did not fix it. There is a lot of water in the bathroom after one shower. I missed the light by the bed and staff for make coffee.
The hotel is in a good destination near the airport. You can also reach the shopping center at the airport on foot. At morning the hotel is quiet. The price for the capital is good, but there is still space for improvement. The city center is already far enough (25 km) if you want to see the sights, about 8 km to the museums. I would rate the hotel well for people who spend the day away from it or as a cheap low cost hotel. I can praise the cleaning staff. everything clean daily, service better than by the sea.

UkraineThere is no receptionist. To check-in we must go through the kitchen of the cafe in the same building in a room with a man who process the people who move in. One of the rooms in a hotel room does not have window.
2-room hotel room was clean and pretty spacious. Heating and hot water were good.

UkraineThe staff were very friendly and helpful. It was good that there was a restaurant facility in the hotel. We asked for a kettle, and it would be great to ask for an air-conditioner remote control, we just stayed for one night, so didn't bother.

AustriaWe had breakfast included, but this was not worth the extra cost. There was no buffet, but we had to choose from a fixed menu. And worst of all, only ONE (1!) cup of coffee was included. We were not aware of this beforehand and were subsequently asked to pay extra. This was a first...and never again!
Only stay here if you have business in this area and want to avoid having to travel through the horrible city traffic. Otherwise not worth it.

RomaniaI stayed two nights at this hotel and ate in their restaurant. Very cozy atmosphere and very nice people! Tasty food in the restaurant, you have to try "mici". I highly recommend. The restaurant is open 24/7. Great location near bus station and Baneasa Airport.

United Statesin order to go to the hotel you need to go to a restaurant to check in and a person walks you half a block to a different builing wich is the so called hotel. The room seemed to be clean however the floor had lots and lots of ants roaming around. my room was on the fifth floor and on the third floor was a weding party with loud music and lots of kids screaming endlessly. the music was so loud that my bed was vibrating. couldn't sleep at all. Booking.com should be aware of theese sort of places and not do business with them. people go to a hotel to sleep and not to be awake all night.
