How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

in the bathroom no place to put tooth brash shaving staf and other things. in the room no place to put clothes the safe was not fixed to anything must fix shelves for clothes

Very nice hotel, we had 3 superior twin rooms. The room was clean, warm, had air con and window opened. Modern bathroom with shower. Hotel was quiet, we had no issues. Very nice buffet breakfast with good selection. We were able to park on road opposite for free.

The reception looks like one from “80. Same with receptionist attitude.
The temperarure was set up too high. Too hot with the window closed, too cold with the window opened.

Advertised private parking but not the fact that you have to pay for it. I would expect when a place says it has parking it's included in the price unless it says the parking is extra.
Very well-located. Fairly quiet but close to a lot of fun.

I was staying in a double room however the room is small and have no balcony or open windows. The bathroom can be checked for some small issues with the shower that needs to be fixed.
I booked for a 2 single bed and when check in they changed it for a double bed room. The distance to the old town was perfect for me by walk.

The shower leaked, the shower hose (shower head) casing (the pipe) was not caulked to the wall. Room wasn't serviced for two days of my day and when I called they came right up to empty the trash bins and to swap out and replenish toiletries. The rooms were incredibly hot.
Great location close to city center and close to the OTP AIRPORT. Fast elevator and the beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. Great water pressure. There is a Chinese restaurant attached which is conveinent if you are in a rush. I did not eat there, bit heard it was good! I wouldn't consider this a 4-star as advertised on random websites. 3-star at best.

-The hotel is very close to Calea Victoriei -The hotel is in good neighborhood -There is a free parking in front of the hotel and parking of charge just to the hotel. -The breakfast was very good -The room was big and we have a toilet room and a bathroom...very comfortable

Location excellent in Bucharest, in the heart of the city. Very good to solve things, but also to explore places, restaurants, to be able to meet many friends in a few days only! A perfect choice for me with every stay in Bucharest!

Breakfast seemed to me like poor for the price paid. I was explained about the temporary situation of the breakfast variety and sorted out eventually.
Great location close to the inner center. Modern hotel with good facilities and amenities. Room clean and spacious. Asked for a quiet room and got it. Staff very kind and friendly.

Excellent location, very clean and well maintained. Surprisingly quiet considering the location. The rooms are freshly renovated and they "smell new". The finishing is not super premium but above average for the star level. Good breakfast and a even better dinner. Free parking place but with limited availability - excellent for Bucharest!
