Great location near Skadarska and also 5min walk to Fortress, Kneza Mihaila. Plus heaps of other highlights to see. 20-25 min walk to bus station. Super clean hostel and reception found an exchange bureau open for me close by on a Sunday afternoon to buy some Serbian Donars. Tip- make the effort to get some RSD cash restaurants and shops seem to prefer it. Thanks Iris team.

In the weekend you can hear some noise from the surrounding clubs and bars, but if you have good earplugs you'll sleep like a baby. I think would be a good idea if the hostel would use shower curtains in the shower cabins so that your towel/clothes and towel won't get wet. Now you have to hang them outside the cabin. That can be very awkward if someone comes in when you are out of the cabin to grab them (the bathroom is for all genders).

The staff are very friendly. They are always open to have a conversation or to give you great tips about the city. The place is also clean and I felt very safe inside the hostel. The hostel is also in a very nice neighbourhood with great kafanas and bars. It is also very close to public transport and Republic Square.

Really like the ambience there and the organised system of their working was impeccable . The owner assigned me a captain I could say that helped me to communicate with the staff as I dont know Serbian so she was basically acting as a translator and helped me a lot and gave me a whole lot information about the food and places. I was first afraid to try it as I am completely new to the place and it was my first time out of my country but they are very well organised and gave me a warm welcome. Hats of to them and the level of hygiene they maintenance is wonderful clean sheets, perfectly clean washrooms just loved it . 10/10 Affordable, warming and luxurios

Hostel location is amazing,it has promixity to the market place and nearby tourist places. Also owner and staff,s behaviour is a added bonus. All in in all i had a clean comfortable and cozy stay with all latest facilities available in the hotel

January is dead here. Thus its difficult to review an empty hostel. The kitchen ( which is one kettle and one hotplate ) would not surfice for a busy period NOT A COSY PLACE The weather was cold in Belgrade and so was the hostel , the bathroom and common area ... except bedroom which had good AC. Even the staff never take their coat off Sorry, This hostel has a mystery smell which cannot be identified. The hostel doesn't have many windows open that I see so not much fresh air

In single rooms only one electric plug, and tourists usually need more: for charging telephone, photocamera, videocamera, computer, lamp. It is easy to correct to put on the plugs plug-divider, which divide it into three. It cost nothing, but gives clients important necessary opportunitites.

Location is excellent, in the centre of historical centre, close to central town square and all landmarks. Rooms for two people are good (two of them), and possible to book for one, and have private bathroom and toilet, better to live there, rooms for one person too little windows and located on the floor, which looks not very good, and room is very small, for people with claustrofobia not very good.

There is a smell inside because the windows are not used. Unfortunately, the ventilation is not very good. :(

The location of the hotel is great. There are local restaurants on the street. Walking distance to all tourist attractions. The employees are helpful. Also close to the terminal. It was very nice to stay here. :)

Everything was wonderful.

I had a great time staying at Hostel Iris and highly recommend it. The staff are really friendly and welcoming, my private room was cosy and comfortable (small, but there is enough space) and there are plenty if bathrooms. It's right in the middle of the old part of Belgrade, and from there I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to visit in the city. The street is quiet and peaceful, though you are within a minute of several main roads, bars, cafes, museums, etc.
