It is really nothing not to like about as all was fine.

Everything was just great: Christine is a very good and kind host, the room was great and very clean, airco worked perfect, the terrace just lovely, breakfast delicious, not too much, but definetely enough. Beach just across the street and it felt like a private beach as nobody was there. The transfer to the airport also great and cheaper than what we paid when getting to our (previous) hotel.

This was our second stay at Captain's Villa, this time as a group of 4 in one of the self-catering apartments. Everything was lovely and clean, the beds comfortable and we enjoyed the privacy of the apartment. The manager Christine was so kind, personable and helpful. The restaurant is not open every evening but on one of the evenings we had a great fish supper there. Captain's Villa is an excellent place to stay and is really good value. The beach opposite was great for swimming and snorkelling whilst we were there. Highly recommend!

Nothing not to like. Keep in mind it’s a bit further away from the city and restaurants and shops close by close around 5-6.

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa. Everyone was super nice, especially Chris who really took an interest to make us feel welcome and gave some tips on what to do, she helped us rent a car and also with transfers, she was lovely. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruits, bread, butter, jam, eggs and cheese. Usually they serve dinner, we ate dinner our first night and we enjoyed that as well. The location is quite nice, the beach is really beautiful, even though it's not that popular.

Paradise. The Villa is awesome, clean, bright, in the middle of an amazing green garden with stunning flowers. Great location, 5 minutes walking distance to the best beach ever. Christine has been so helpful, cleaver and smiling all the time. When they get fresh fish directly from the beach, Christine prepare unforgettable dinners for her guests. I left a piece of my heart there.

Absolutely wonderful place, I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a peaceful and pleasant holiday. We had a room with terrace, very cozy, clean and comfortable, spacious bathroom. Great breakfast, local fruits are fantastic! Wonderful beach across the street, very nice local restaurant with delicious pan fried fish and coconut ice-cream, just a few steps from the Villa. There is also a small store with drinks nearby. At the Villa no mosquitos, but you can encounter them at the beach, so be prepared. We have seen a giant turtle in the neighbourhood! Cristine and Flo are extremely friendly and helpful, thank you so much for making our stay unforgettable!

We spent the  two first  weeks of November at Captains Willa. All together we were fourteen persons, 6 children between 2 and 12 years old, their parents and grandparents. We had a fantastic time. Captains Villa offered a very god accommodation, good service and pleasant treatment. They made two very good dinners for us. Many thanks to Christine and your staff. The beautiful surroundings with Anse Forbans just 30 meters away were perfect for us. The beach offered good snorkelling, fun playing in the waves and sometimes just calm water. Within 5 minutes’ walk there was a small shop, a bar and a café that served excellent food.

Owner was very friendly and we felt welcome. We loved to stay as her guests. Parking and outside showers were good options. Very nice beach was just across the street and it was lovely to have a late evening swim after daytrip.

Bring with you a toothbrush and sleepers

The villa is located in a quiet, cosy location. Literally across the road, there is an excellent beach, almost wild, without crowds of tourists. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The room has air conditioning, a refrigerator, a TV, a hairdryer, tea, coffee, and water. On the balcony, there is a drying rack for your things and sun loungers so that you can sit comfortably in the evening and watch the stunning starry sky with a glass of beer. But I would like to say separately about the administrator of the villa, Christina, she is simply amazing. Maybe because of her, such an atmosphere reigns there. Attentive, obliging, will help you with any questions. I highly recommend this place!

Just a little bit sad to have had just a plate of fruit for two the second day for breakfast.

Christine is soooo nice and we had a wonderful time at Captain’s Villa! The dinner was delicious and the place very calm. It was a great pleasure to meet you all and talk with you! Everything was great, for consideration if you choose the same villa as us, we stayed in the 2 bedroom Villa sleeps 5 people. This villa is on the second and third levels of the property, with the second bedroom which has a double bed and single bed accessible by very steep curving staircase, may not be ideal if you have very young children or elderly to use the upstairs bedroom.

Great location only 20m walk to a little beach. There were good waves that the kids enjoyed playing in, calmer beach was a short walk past the Hilton hotel. This was a nice quieter location, good for relaxing. You will need a car to get about or can catch the bus, stop is right outside the property. Breakfast was good with nice fresh fruit grown on the property, and there is an option to have traditional Seychelles meals for dinner like octopus and bat curry. Manager Christine was excellent, very helpful and available to answer any queries.

If I could give the rating 11/10, I would. Everything from start to finish was perfectly executed. Christine, the property manager, deserves all the praise she can get. She was incredibly helpful and friendly, and treated us like we were friends rather than guests. She also went out of her way to help us and give us advice on what to do on the island and how to get by. We ate breakfast and sometimes dinner at the property. The food was amazing, always fresh and fantastically prepared. The staff was always super friendly and ready to help and answer questions at any given moment. The suite was cleaned every day. Not just our room, but the dining area, the terrace, the garden and the foyer were immaculate in terms of cleanliness. The beds were comfy, the bathroom looks newly renovated, the AC worked like a dream. The location is perfect for someone who wants to relax and not get lost in the city-life, although Victoria is a bus ride away. The bus stop is in front of the Villa. Many beaches that are located on this part of the island are long enough that every visitor feels like they're on a private beach. The beaches are also clean - we haven't seen a single piece of trash. Christine if you're reading this - give Fudge a big kiss. We got to see some astoundingly beautiful places with the help of a local tour guide - Clint Monthy, recommended by Christine. He was kind, always went the extra mile to give us a unique experience of the island, and showed us the locations that we otherwise wouldn't get to see. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to explore the Seychelles. All in all, a big thank you to wonderful Christine and the entire staff for an amazing stay! It was a pleasure to stay at the Captain's Villa.
