The breakfast could have room for improvement, especially when the evening meals so delicious. There was a set "table" offering which we didn't really want and when we ordered hot food at times it arrived cold. The hotel is smaller than I imagined, but it's a smaller island so this makes sense.

Our stay was lovely, the staff were so welcoming and helpful- they helped us plan our whole trip, picked us up from the ferry/dropped us back and the hotel offers bikes, towels and snorkeling gear. The hotel restaurant was delicious and they were so accommodating of my dietary requirements as a vegan. The room was very clean and always fresh for our return.

The staff was just amazing, the GM Ash is on the top of everything very attentive and his leadership has reflected positively on the staff. the enivrement and location were amazing , so relaxing so original and so pure. the hotel is in the heart of the ocean just what you need to relax, chill and rewind . suitable for all , solo, couples, families and friends.

Staff was exceedingly friendly, the food was the best we had in our two week trip around the seychelles, the room (black parrot) was very beautiful and spaceous, the upstairs pool and bar area was very cozy and they had amazing cocktails. highly recomend the octopus curry in the lunch bar!

1) This resort is not ideal in July (which is when we stayed) due to the windy conditions and choppy water. One can’t really enjoy the seaside or do any water sports. But we expected this when we booked so this is not a criticism of the resort but a helpful tip for future travellers. 2) You will need a car or be ready to take the bus or a taxi if you are the type of traveller who likes to move around and not be in the resort all day. 3) There is no bathroom door as such (a small wall partition separating the room and bathroom area). The toilet and shower have half frosted glass doors. Not ideal if you are travelling as family. I didn’t pay much attention when I was booking but do look at the pictures online if you can to see if this room design suits your travel style. 4) the rooms and bathrooms are dated but clean.

1) Resort has nice architecture and a beautiful setting. 2) Staff is very helpful and friendly. 3) Food offering at breakfast and dinner was also good (we did half board since this place is an isolated location and we didn’t want to drive at night through the very windy, non-lit narrow roads).

Geckos were a problem for a couple of nights in the bedroom. Not easy access to Black Parrot suites due to steepness of slope Fixed toiletries in room which was a concern regarding covid. Disposable toiletries would be a better option. Pool towels not always available at Black Parrot Suite Pool which meant a lengthy walk to the hotel reception to collect. Over eager staff in removing plates and cutlery as soon as one of us had finished eating

The location is not the best in the island, but that's not a problem if you intend to stay at the property and/or using the free bus to Anse Lazio.

We got a junior suite at the Black Parrot. The room was amazing, big and recently reformed. The staff was very friendly and the facilities were exceptional (we especially appreciated the deck with sofas and swimming pool).

If you prefer the beach, the one at the hotel - although well maintained - is only small.

We wanted a calm hotel with a decent buffet option and a nice pool. Coco de mer exceeded our expectations in every way. With 2 pools, one an infinity at the end of the pier and the other overlooking the sea with plenty of sunbeds it was certainly scenic and relaxing. The food was incredible, breakfast buffet options including pancakes, eggs and delicious mini pastries, and the dinner buffet was even better, varied with amuse bouches, an array of cuisine and very well labelled too. The staff are the friendliest and hardest working. Our room was humongous and luckily had a sea view and private balcony, and the whole place was calm (no music blaring by the pool) and didn't feel too crowded at any point. And its a short drive from the airport, the port, and fond ferdinand perfect to see the actual coco de mers. A truly perfect stay.

The room had a small little garden area with beach view. The place was very cute, looked exactly as the pictures. The hotel has 3 pools . All 3 pools were amazing. We had amazing sunsets from the jetty. The breakfast is good. We booked half board and that was good too. There was a complimentary hike organised by the hotel, we did a small hike on the property and learned about the coco de mer and saw the fruit, which was special. We wanted to stay longer here but the hotel was fully booked. They had a small gym which was fully equipped.

The WiFi was superslow and we got disconnected all the time.

We really liked the fantastic pier at the beach. It has a pool, stairs to the ocean and awesome views of the sunset. There is also a small and nice beach. The room was great and clean, nothing super fancy, but just what you can expect at this price point and location. The food was fine, not to much to choose from though in the evenings.
