We were vacationing at Julie's Holiday Home with friends in October. We chose a place based on reviews. An excellent place: a spacious house with a kitchen, where, in addition to the cost of breakfast, you could cook yourself or order from the owners; nice bright rooms facing the street. In two minutes walk away there is a supermarket and a takeaway shop. There is also a beach across the road. This beach is very good for children. He is shallow, super warm, and has clean water. But three bus stops have a wonderful Anse Royale beach with normal depth, a deep shade below of trees, and shops within walking distance. The owners of the house are very warm-hearted, positive people. They try to create all the conditions for a carefree rest for their guests: they help take them a car rental, tell them about routes for trips of the island to attractions and generally solve issues as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Very nice house with a friendly, family-like atmosphere. Mama Julie and Papa Barry are amazing, kind-hearted people which provide you with top-notch services. Moreover, they are willing to give you local recommendations and chat with their guests if they want to (Mama and Papa have lots of stories to share and they are funny). House includes two cute dogs. Despite the fact, that Julie takes care of the entire household. Rooms are perfectly cleaned and breakfasts are very rich and delicious.

The housekeepers were super-nice and the are very good people too. They were helpful, if we needed any informations. Julie and Barry are very talkative and the like to talk with their guests. We spent there more than one week and it was our very best holiday stay ever. The breakfast was delicious. We used public transport and bus stop was not so far. The house is located in quiet neighbourhood and was super-clean. We hope to spent another time on Mahé right in this accomodation. Recommending!

Many thanks to Julie and Barry for an excellent hotel where you feel at home. The room is clean, the breakfasts are very tasty. A cozy, spacious room with everything you need. Guests can enjoy wine on the terrace in the evening. There are barbecue facilities, but we did not use them, because we had dinner in restaurants. The hotel itself is located near the coast. There is a minimarket and a couple of good restaurants nearby. We spent an unforgettable holiday at Julie's holiday home. Thank you very much!

absolutely nothing, we really enjoyed our stay!!

If you want to feel home away from home, this place is for you. We were in complete awe of the kindness and generosity Julie and Barry showed us. I can't recommend this place enough for those who want to feel at ease while visiting Mahe. We have the loveliest memories to bring home. Thank you for making our short stay that much more special mama & papa! We already miss you and the doggos!

Incredible place to spend your vacation on Mahe. Room was nice and very clean. Barry and Jullie took care about us during the whole holiday, they prepared a Creole dinner for us and It was absolutely amazing, everyday breakfast was awesome. We really recommend this place as your next vacation stay.

Amazing staying at Julie’s holiday home! Barry and Juli treated us like a family and helped with everything (what to visit, where and how to go to the most beautiful beaches). They have two dogs which are adorable! The rooms are clean and very nice! Breakfast was very good and tasty.

A stay at the Julie's guest house was very nice, I felt literally at home. Hosts both Julie and Barry extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. Served breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I definitely recommend staying here. It was a wonderfully spent time on the beautiful island of Mahe.

Basic rooms (or the one we had was the smallest, least comfortable one in comparison with the other 3 rooms of the guesthouse - however the price is the same regardless of whichever one you receive). No TV, no bed lamps, only 1 electrical socket, no adapter so bring your own No wifi (or better yet, almost inexistent, we used exclusively our Airtel sim cards) No seif in the room, no stander to dry out wet clothes from the beach Cleaning once every 2 days Same breakfast every day (fried eggs or scrambled, pancakes and some fruit) We personally found it overpriced for the basic commodities it offers, however it was an ok, passable stay. Wouldn't recommend it though for more than 2 nights - better guesthouse options nearby, we choose this one for the location in particular and because we booked on short notice so not many places were available. But for the same price on La Digue and Praslin we've had huge beautiful apartments or personal bungalows.

The location is nice, with a supermarket right down the street, restaurants and take away nearby. Anse Royal the closest beach. Easy to find, free parking, pleasant hosts.
